Anything with slow player speed is not going to be efficient for XP. CWW 1-hunts aim to turn over as many games as possible as quickly as possible. You figure out the ghosts you can and leave and move on. Tbh I hate when new players do it b/c it leaves big gaps in game knowledge. But once you can already do 0ev games normally, there's no better way to level.

my normal runs nah, but apoc challenge yes. 1) its a pain to keep going out to the truck, and 2 if it hunts while your walking back to the truck you get locked away from the truck till the hunts over, that time really adds up

run in, setup salt behind the first table, use crouch behind the table and press myself against it to minimize exposure
use parabolic to listen for interactions, figure out where the ghost will be hunting from (this may not necessarily be the ghost room at first so don't count it for goryo observations)
when first hunt starts, look at: ghost speed, LOS, blinking pattern, throwing capacity (polty), footstep volume/falloff distance (myling)
Try to test yokai if you can (way easier in tanglewood since there's walls)
if you get through all of that, have smudged, and still don't know what it is (i.e it's boring like an onryo or a shade or a mare), grab firelight, cruci, and motion sensors (all t3 or t2 cruci), bring those to the ghost room and use them to test the boring stuff.

at this point you can leave and guess, but if you're playing like tanglewood or a custom with sprinting ON i would go further

With this equipment setup, you can test for the following ghosts:

• Onryo (blows the same candle out twice in 20 seconds, use firelight and crucifix)
• Shade (won't touch ANYTHING while you're in the same room as it)
• Goryo (all ghosts teleport to the real ghost room after each hunt and crucifix burn. motion sensor in the ghost room will help you determine if it has changed or not after each hunt/burn)
• Mare (utilizing the smudge timer you set during the first hunt, you will have time to flip lights near ghost room for mare ability)
• Yurei (ghost is locked in its room while smudged, so you can just sit in the ghost room listening for double touches)
• Spirit and Demon (you should have smudged the ghost at some point during first hunt and set a smudge timer)

if you wanna practice 150 at any point, play the same custom, with 150 ghost speed and high hunt duration on ridgeview, and use that table since it has more space on the short ends for the ghost to waddle around

My custom for grinding the event points (derived from @atomic leaf's custom):
some sanity so you can get music box event to happen instead of immediate hunt
150 ghost speed so games go quicker, less time waiting for the ghost to make its way to you to kill you

Grab a t3 sanity pill, a t3 lighter, a t2 smudge, and a t2 salt. check objectives, pick the easiest one to achieve, use the sanity pill, grab the objective item you need with the newly empty inventory slot, and run into the house. put salt down in a good central spot, grab music box, activate it, find the ghost if you can, get close enough to make it do the music box ghost event, then drag the event to the salt if possible. use the event to get some early ghost info. obake will skip footsteps like it does when leaving uv evidence (rng if it does or not). raiju will make your heartbeat louder than any other ghost. shade will be the only ghost that can be invisible during the music box event (but is not invisible every time).

When the ghost hunts, if not already identified, test yokai and jinn. if still not identified, pick mare or goryo or something. let the ghost kill you and start the next game to repeat the process. faster than going to the truck and leaving this way (btw, you get like 2-3k if you forget to let the ghost kill you and end up using the truck anyways once in a while. good for a little boost on the cash/xp)
