• You can rule out a shade if it throws anything, does a ghost event or hunts in the same room as you.
• Spirits are terrible unless you do 2 hunts which I wouldn't recommend, just go to the next game.
• Banshees leave EMF 2 when roaming towards you, so if there's randomly EMF 2 and they haven't thrown anything then it's either Banshee, Phantom or Wraith which you'll know after the hunt.

And Banshees can't change favorite room which you can also rule out

Nope, the only ghost that has “false” evidence is Mimic with orbs. Most of the time it’s user error when it comes to misidentifying evidence. If you have a clip of you getting spirit box, you can submit it to #bug-reports

yo can someone explain the music box to me
i have 0 understanding of how to make it work
I have like 75% sanity
I use it and the ghost sings and doesnt come
but then i bring it closer to ghost and it 'breaks' and insta hunts

music box drains up to 75% sanity for the whole song. If you hit 0, it stops and starts a cursed hunt. Ghost sings within 20m, starts walking event within 5m. If ghost reaches the box or does walking event more than 5 seconds, it starts a cursed hunt. If you throw the box, it starts a cursed hunt.

sometimes there's a bunny, for those spotted ones you get extra points
