Curious if this is a good place to ask a bug related question. While doing this week's challenge mode I was using the tier 3 Parabolic Mic-- and i am wondering fi it is a known bug that when people are using the radio to chat to one another that all you hear is the click of the radio on/off, and maybe a single word or two like it's glitching? Is this normal? Or is this a known bug? Cause it was infuriating missing entire conversation bits while searching for the ghost.

you're being misinformed.

There are 3 scenarios where a ghost knows your location:

1. They can see you with LoS
2. You have active electronics (including use of global chat)
3. You are talking on proximity chat and they are close enough to hear you

If they have LoS, they can also gain speed, provided they aren't one of the ghost types where lack of that is a tell.

Generally when crouch looping you would keep a flashlight on, or occasionally toggle the flashlight, so that the ghost continues to chase you without getting the LoS Speedup.
