I always do an anti-clockwise sweep - check the games and food tents for ouija board + summoning circle, then mirror and voodoo doll in the kids area, then go past the lovers bench with the monkey paw, music box in the yellow tent and finally the picnic table for cards

If everything is conspicuously gone I'd get a smudge stick ready because I'd be expecting it to be hidden in a corner somewhere and a cursed hunt to start at any time

It absolutely does. I never find it exactly where it is supposed to be. Particularly Sunny Meadows I've had it just be completely missing, and Camp Woodwind is normally hard to find.

• I know it's the doll on Meadows because I've had other people see it, and no matter how hard they try I don't see it where it is for them, until they pick it up and drop it.

There's a difference between using mechanics already in the game in unusual ways and actively breaking the game; you can still get caught in an unofficial hiding spot, but the other kinda thing just abuses a pathfinding quirk, it's literal AI abuse, hence exploit

If you're looping a standard 1.7m/s ghost around the Tanglewood kitchen counter, you have little room for error. You have to use sprint wisely, not be seen by the ghost going around

I spoke to Lav the other day and they have enough programmers where they don't have to prioritize things like QoL stuff over bugs, or over content as much as they did before. Two programmers last year and now I think they have at least 4 or 5. You don't need to be a programmer to analyse workload
