Long as you turn lights on as a beginner keep them on to keep sanity at still find the ghost room with emf and thermo ur on a good start

Only turn the ghost room lights off when using spirit box try talking to it like 3 to 4 times walk around the room in the dark if no response turn the lights on

Not bad, that'll happen! Ghost have a sanity threshold at which they can hunt you. For most ghosts it's 50% but there are exceptions. You'll lose sanity slowly the longer you stand in the dark, so try to spend most of your time in the light.

It shouldn't be. Your sanity should be hovering around a certain point rather than draining. Stuff like the monkey paw can drain your sanity, so can teammates dying.

There are set hiding spots, you can smudge if it gets close or you need it as an objective. If you have your headset on, talking in game, or it's a deo, the ghost will go right to you and kill you

You'll pretty much always have enough money to upgrade everything immediately if you don't die. If you're filling out a full truck and dying with it then you're absolutely going to be struggling as you level up

Generally you'd ask people to turn their loadouts off if they're not trying to bring stuff

its because a $0 loadout is the starter loadout, and you start with that as the default loadout, so most people just make a new one with all of their stuff in it

Up to 90. I think. Like any ghost Thaye will pick a random number from 2 to 90, but when it ages it will tack on a few years (like 2-5 I think?), so it can go above 90.

Even though Thaye can only age ~10 times, it still rolls to age so there's no real limit to how old it can get.

Until it gets to 2.147 billion or something and overflows and crashes the game.

I am surprised that I have a pretty good win record on 1 evidence runs thus far. I think the hardest ghost I've run in to was the Thaye I just had. Only because it took a while for it to show the 1 evidence (writing). PRetty soon, I'll be able to do no evidence runs.

Because 10,000 is a pretty arbitrary number in computing, and things generally only break at 10,000 if its an issue about displaying said number rather than computing it

Maybe your resolution is really really low? If you can't read anything, open up your pause menu, click the middle option (Options), second tab (Video), fourth option on the list (Resolution) and move that up?
