Unfortunately you and others are mistaken
Ghost must be in idle state for 2-6 seconds, the exceptions are:

• Abilities
• Flames of any kind
• Writing Books
• Tripods, for some reason

If somehow a Ghost did double touch like a yurei, it would be a bug as it would be too quick for a regular idle state

you could have something like a trip wire or motion sensor connected to it so it prevents it from taking random pictures and only ghost pics, also if you don't want it to take pictures, simply use tier 2 tripod, also I like that it can miss photo's makes it balanced, and even if it's a 1 star photo it could help a lot with the capture the ghost photo objective in itself, the objective pays a lot more depending on the difficulty you're playing on.

say you're playing on cww, and g host is a yurei in campfire room, the only door in that room is the front gate, so you can all go outside and watch the gate and the ghost can still do double touch yurei ability but cannot do ghost events because someone has to be in the map for that. easiest way to confirm with 100% confidence that the ghost is a yurei (or mimic) but all conditions must be met (ghost be a yurei and in campfire room)

two things:

either set event frequency to medium or hunt duration to medium, you'll still get the 15x multiplier for the gold trophy

with event frequency medium, you get more events when you're in range of the ghost (15 meters), so easier and safer ghost photos and more chances for ghost event objective

with medium hunts, you get 10 second shorter hunts, you can time the hunt from the moment it starts so you know when you need to draw the ghost to you (near the end of hunt) so you can smudge it and spam the camera at it then hide until the hunt ends, which will be very soon after if you time it right

No, the ghost will become active once the front door opens. I open the door and throw my items in to give it time to become more active and to test for banshee/wraith/phantom/entryway ghost.

on PC we have 2 voice modes, voice, and system voice. on console you only have voice.

system voice on PC uses windows voice recognition with is much less strict with matching though much more inaccurate, so phrases like "how many pickles" get misunderstood and it thinks you're asking "how many people are here"

regular voice, which is console's only choice is much more strict, and has to be a full match for the phrase for it to be attempted

if the door shuts for a hunt and you can't hear the ghost at all, start using parabolic. if you do hear the ghost, and it's quite loud, it's probably close enough to sense your electronics, so don't turn it on and just listen to its footsteps
