It depends on the weather. Snow is around 5 or 6 C, rainy weather and I believe fog as well is around 8 or 9, and sunrise is around 14 or 15. But that's just going off of when I check outside temps

Heyt here ! I was crashing constantly (like 1 game out of 3) since the Farmhouse Update (had no problem before that) and i'm playing on PC and with friends (i'm not the Host and my friends had also the same issue as me). I tried to find a fix and found something useful first on Steam community Hub where someone said he could fix the problem when he turned the voice recognition off just before pushing the van's button and returning to the lobby (the crashing always happening while returning to the lobby). But I didn't want to try that as I found that "fix" annoying, so I found another fix (still relating to the Voice Recognition) on Reddit where there is an issue with the Voice Recognition in French (which is my case) and I had to change the Voice Recognition from "Voice" to "System Voice". Now i'm not crashing anymore so it might be useful for others 🙂

Another tip, I recommend going with the thermo, emf and photo camera in the first go-around. But if its too dark then take emf, photo camera and flashlight in the first go-around. I do the same aswell.

@somber path I made the gold apocalypse by doing the following :

• Hiding as soon as i enter the asylum (so hiding at the entrance)
• If i could hear the ghost, then i proceed to go to the Chapelle (where there is lights)
• Next hunt, I would try to make the ghost come to me
• Incense > Photo > Incense > Hide back (next to the piano in the chapelle) - making the ghost photo is top prio as it is the most risky part of the challenge

Reset map if i can't hear the ghost with the first hunt (as move speed is only 50%, if the ghost is too far away it will be annoying to find him and far too long to go till there + i wont have the lights from the chapelle)

Reset maps if you have at least 1 objective which is not very easy to do in that settings (ghost events for exemple)

Was playing with my mum and a friend on new Bleasdale. We were messing around in the upstairs area (I was doing breaker and searching upstairs while mum was showing friend around the map).
I decided to start looking downstairs. Our sanity must have been getting around 50-60% at that point. Hanging around that front left storage area, had looked around most of downstairs with no signs. Next thing I turn around and I'm dead.
Mum comes downstairs and within 30 seconds the door slammed and the hunt was going on (mind you we still had no idea where the ghost room was). I went around to find it while mum hid in one of the front rooms. It started hunting in the garden outside and absolutely beelined to the door and through the entire downstairs and killed mum without stepping a foot out of place. It behaved like a deo in that sense but didn't have the speed up/slow down. Was a demon.

I thought it was just strange how it just knew where mum was hiding even when she was hidden and on the other side of the map.

Usually if you find orbs. It’s best to just select Mimic. Then actively try to collect the other evidence to rule out Mimic.

If you use and abuse hiding spaces, learn tricks like goryo dots, Deo screams, moroi curse and so forth you'll be able to avoid getting hunted

There are the few which you really want to have three evidence like (emf and UV) but it will push you to get better at the game and overcome the reaction time issues. Dying is not the end of the world. And you can always guess and reroll or play with friends who can loop the ghost for you/with you.

There are so many times that I play two evidence and it is actually 1 evidence because it refuses to give me the second evidence. Improvise adapt overcome, I guess we are playing one evidence for a match. Which speed can I hear differently, what are the items I can control and what do I need for a plan to figure this out? If I don't get it then I learn and learn and learn. This is why I love this game is that it keeps me on my toes. Success is almost always achievable but mastery is always one more game away.

I think you might be missing my point. How do you know which candle it is on, if you put multiple candles down? Did you get like 5 individual candle blow outs, then that means it is bugged but if you don't use a single one, you will absolutely lose track like it seems you did.

The thermal can easily get confused if you aren't careful, tents in maple will also show thermals at the back and not at the front, so you want to check around the rooms at times.

Just to clarify, if you think that is the room, hold it on your hands and wait for it to bounce, when you have the room you think is the ghost room, Throw it down and go wandering, but if you throw it from the hallway it keeps tracking the hallway temp
