Sorry, still learning. So you mean LOS, or a sound, or having equipment on, it will detect me and speed up towards that spot and then slow down when it reaches the spot I made the sound or had equipment on or where it saw me?

Yes Obake can shapeshift in hunts. Obake does not have DOTS. And it is an Obake exclusive ability to shapeshift.

deo, thaye, hantu, rev have the eye struck out - no LOS

deo, thaye, hantu and rev don’t speed up with los. revenant is detection based and at a fixed speed

and raiju and jinn will also be at a fixed speed under certain conditions but will build los in the background

if conditions aren’t met they will have normal los

Only The Mimic has ghost orbs. Otherwise, try to use the thermometer instead. Most of us just loop de loop the ghost instead.

loop it first hunt then if it's not an obvious ghost take cruci firelight and motion sensors to the ghost room and start testing all the boring shit with those

youll figure out where the ghost room is when it starts the hunt if you're using a parabolic

all this is assuming you mean to play with 0 sanity as well
