i just stay in the very first room when you open the front door. I check for orbs very first thing, then check objectives. If its an annoying objective like "witness an event" i wanna be lucky and have it spawn somewhat close but even then it will remember where i am. but a "capture a ghost photo" is a freebie!

Ghost event objective is just an immediate reset for me. Last thing I need is for the ghost to be close enough to event on top of me, especially with 50% speed, no sprint, and 0 grace.

but having a capture a photo, escape it during a hunt, and repel the ghost while its chasing someone, are my 3 main go-to objectives. but it all relies on where the ghost room is.

It really depends on your tolerance for resetting. I personally only reset when I get an event objective.

When I was doing my apoc, I had the three hunt related objectives (cleanse escape repel), got a demon for mine because it teleported to me twice (I swear it can wander across floors I’m not schizo i swear)

So I’d recommend the hunt objs if ur going for it

If an obvious new player, kid or teen joined me I wouldn’t kick them. I’d watch my language and respect the fact that they’re just like me playing a game. I try not to treat it like it’s different? Idk some kids are really hard to play with. Cause I’ll try to explain something and they just really wouldn’t get it. Which is okay. i usually brush it off and say i just made a mistake. but on that one specific case we all thought it was obake. when i play and stream with those friends, i let them pick what the ghost is then I choose the correct ghost afterwards. they also saw the shapeshift of the grandma ghost to Patient 7 then back to granny

Has anyone else noticed that the “pure” Kinetic developed maps, i.e. Asylum, Lighthouse, and now Bleasedale, run noticeably poorer in VR than the unity asset maps?
The fact that those three maps struggle to hit even 30fps on PS5 PSVR worries me about the future of the game. I love the new farmhouse but man it stutters.

Hi! I just did a singleplayer nightmare run and the ghost was throwing stuff while I was in its room. It even busted the lights while I was in there. The ghost ended up being a shade. I thought shades don’t do stuff like that when someone is in its room? I’m so confused

It's not that simple because the Demon repeatedly rolls to do its ability. The activity wish doesnt give a flat chance of it doing it, it only doubles the chance of the roll succeeding for the next couple of minutes

So the answer is really just "double the usual"
