Only ones I know for definite (please correct me if I’m wrong, just what I’ve learnt from YT videos)… to test for onryo quickly is if it blows out the candle/firelight twice within twenty seconds (something like that) and obake look for 6 fingers on the prints on doors/windows (IF it does that) and 2 fingers on light switches… and deogen it slows tf down when it gets close to you? I think? :3

Yeah those are all correct. Has to be the same firelight twice in under 20s for Onryo. The cheat sheet is gonna be your best bet for keeping track of all the tells until you learn them by heart.

For nightmare, just find your 2 evidences, then look at what separates the remaining ghosts (abilities, hunt behavior, etc). Once you feel comfortable with that, try Insanity with 1ev, then pretty soon you'll be able to do full 0ev games.

You should identify the ghost first. Spending several minutes dragging in all of your equipment only for the ghost to either be a really difficult one or be a morgue ghost is going to be a huge pain. Bringing in a smudge and crucifix with your para mic is a good idea, locate it and hopefully it's obvious. If not you can then start bringing in more equipment for tests.
