You could try to turn on FSR 1 on quality mode or balanced.

Degrades quality (due to being an old upscaler by AMD, it's FSR 1 and much worse than FSR 3, XeSS and DLSS), but it should give you a few more frames.

there's definitely a learning curve with it. Better to live and pick the wrong ghost than die, though.

breaker has to be on, and then you have to find an area with a long hallway or something and then when the jinn sees you, itll run super fast for a moment and then once it gets to a certain range from you it slows back down to normal

as far as Jinn vs Hantu specifically, if the ghost ever touched the breaker, that rules at least one of them out

Yeah, I had 4 to start with, had freezing temps and a handprint, left me with Demon, Mimic, Hantu and Jinn. There was no ghost writing so Demon was out, no spirit box so the mimic was out lol. Kinda went 50/50 on that one

for mimic, check for an extra fake orb
hantus and jinns can be figured out by speed
demon is pretty normal but try taking sanity pills and check if it still hunts after you take all 4 pills

I just gotta say after leaving Phas for like 3 weeks and finally coming back after feeling bad that 2 games have been pulling my attention away from it... I can confidently say the game managed to piss me off on an Insanity with all tier 1 equipment. DUDE. EVERY SINGLE TIME I ATTEMPTED TO GRAB EVIDENCE NEAR THE GHOST ROOM THE GHOST ACTIVITY DROPPED TO NONE. I was absolutely 100% sure of a shade. If you're inside the van the ghost is not going to hunt unless there's a bug or another player so the other player usually will know when it's hunting.

What does it work on you can't get EMF 5 easily unless you get the perfect situation it has up and down values to try to trick you the twinteraction that everybody talks about has been proven to be done by multiple other ghosts

While it can be used to assist in identifying The Twins, all Ghosts are able to replicate such a pattern in activity.

EMF5 isn't that hard to spot when you know the caveats, tbh. And for newer players, they can put a sound sensor in the room and compare what they hear to what they see.

If you hear a door touch and it jumps by 4-5 with no one in the house, that's only EMF5

Hey guys, I just started playing on Nightmare mode and noticed that the sanity and activity meters are disabled. To help me learn, I made a custom game with the same settings but with the sanity and activity meters turned on, which gives me a 4.45 reward multiplier. Do you think I should keep using my custom setup to practice, or is it better to learn without the sanity and activity meters from the start?

up to u, if u have knowledge of what the average sanity is then u dont need the sanity board
