🔮 SPECTRAL ORB 🔮

Basically it looks like a normal glass orb on a wooden stand. You can pick up the glass orb and look through it. You'll be able to where the ghost is roaming from the ghost's perspective, almost like a POV of the ghost. It feels like you are the ghost. However, as long you are looking through that orb, the ghost will continously roam towards your location. If it roams and gets within 3 meters of your location, the orb will shatter into many pieces and trigger a cursed hunt from the location it managed to roam to. The orb can also shatter instantly upon use if the ghost is already standing within 3 meters of you.

When you take a picture of a phantom it never shows up in the picture if it's going to be a ghost photo if it was an interaction or salt the game doesn't know better sometimes and you can see the ghost in the picture otherwise it will be a undistorted picture of nothing

Ghosts start hunts at their current location. Because they can wander (and some like wraith, phantom and banshee have abilities that move them to the players location), they don't always start hunts inside their favorite room. If you weren't standing on top of the crucifix, that could be what happened

Edit: if the ghost wandered out of his room and was out of range of the crucifix when the hunt started, that would be the result. Wraith/banshee/phantom are imo annoying because they wander (or teleport for wraith) to the player, which gets them away from the crucifixes in their room and also near the player. If they then happen to decide to hunt, it can be unpleasant

and it's not a conclusive test, but myling tend to be more chatty on paramic.
and on 0 evidence, it can help for figuring out you have a banshee, which has a distinct wail.

If you focus on finding the ghost before it hunts mostly, turn up all the custom settings for ghost speed, sanity drain, etc etc.

Find your 2 ev and then carefully figure out the ghost from there if you decided to turn ghost speed up

basically onryo can hunt when it's outside the 4 meter range of a firelight, but if it's within the range, it MUST blow it out first, and then it will only trigger an ability hunt when the total number of candles it's blown out the entire game is a multiple of 3 (not like it blows a couple candles out, resets the counter then tries again, the number just keeps going up and up and up)

i personally just test with a single lanter, or my lighter if the ghost room is small enough, then have motion sensors in the room and on the doorway so i know if the ghost is still there or if it's roaming away so i can follow it around. this way there's only one firelight for it to blow out. you can confirm onryo if it blows the same firelight/lighter out back to back without waiting 20 seconds in between, it's the only ghost that can ignore the 20 second cooldown when blowing a single candle out

yes, breaker has to be on, and it needs LoS, then it jumps to special speed. it also cannot gain LoS speed increase while affected by it, but can if it cannot use its ability. Same with the Raiju near electronics

Oh, i think Creator was asking about standard LoS speed increase. yes, if the breaker is off, it will gain standard speed boosting if in LoS, but wont gain it's ability speed. If its ability is in effect, i cannot gain LoS speedup
