The ghost room was in the kitchen on ridgeview and it burned the crucifixes while me and my friend were both standing in the kitchen. Maybe it was hunting from a different room and it got in range of one of the crucifixes, it was a very aggressive shade🤷

Depends on the settings. Generally you won't see many room changes unless on low sanity and room change frequency is set to high.

The long linear design makes walking very very tedious. Going from the van to the top takes about the same amount of time as going to the furthest rooms on Sunny Meadows.
And every floor above the ground floor just being one room means any test involving room boundaries kinda suck.
Sound is awful and its genuinely hard to tell if you're above or below and how much.

Mind you I really like Point Hope but it's a palette cleanser for me rather than a mainstay

Spirit Box

The Spirit Box is one of the main evidence pieces in Phasmophobia. The purpose is to communicate with the Ghost, and aid in the investigation. Activate it by using your Right Click button (default).

How to use the Spirit Box is as follows:

Functions

1. Activate the Spirit Box and walk around in a dark room. While pressing either local or global voice chat, ask it questions.

2. The Spirit Box's responses are represented through icons and dots; if the X icon or red dot lights up, no response - If the Ghost icon lights up or white dot, the Ghost is speaking.

3. Try asking it questions like, "Where are you?" or "How old are you?" Icons lighting up during a Hunt does not count toward its evidence.

If you are playing with evidence, then the evidence. If not you can eliminate yokai very easily by crouch looping with a flashlight on. Then do the fire test for onryo.
