Lemme try to give a general play-by of how it's happening(we are irl, I'm sitting and watching to help them learn the game)

Before starting a match the only way I can get the extra items to load is going into a different load out (other than the "all" ) and hand clicking the button to add the items, and it doesn't save those items being added so I have to each round

If it sees you it will repeatedly place a way point on you and slowly speeds up. If you break los. It will check your last seen location before start randomly walking again

But also in most lore, the bone is used to bind a spirit ghost to a location, then the bone can be removed. To destroy the ghost you need to burn the human remains. Or know a spell or ritual to bind the ghost to a new location.
