they have this thing called twinteractions, where they interact on opposite sides of the map

use thermo to pinpoint the ghost room, put a crucifix in there and you should be safe

Tier 2 and 3 are easier to get a reading, you can keep checking periodically and hold it for a few secs, where as tier 1 takes a little bit longer. Also, it's easier to find the ghost room with tier 2/3

When I was new, I'd prefer tier 1 as well. It's also true that you can just throw tier 1 thermo in the room and check later. But as you play on higher difficulties, the ghost will roam a lot and it'll be much harder to get freezing. The ghost needs to be in the room for longer to give freezing temps, hence tier 2/3 is better for higher difficulties, but tier 1 works just fine for lower difficulties.

They either have really good game knowledge, which is not hard to achieve, just takes a lot of hours of learning ghost behaviour or they're probably using hacks.

Currently playing intermediate and sometimes professional- with professional I’ll prefer tier 2 for the ghost room change, but intermediate I’ll go with tier 1

Makes sense. For nightmare and higher, I prefer tier 2/3, but it's not like it's impossible to get freezing temps with tier 1 on higher difficulties. I do have trouble playing on insanity to get freezing temps since the annoying ghost decides to roam a lot and keep changing ghost rooms. Most of the time I figure out the ghost without getting any evidence on Insanity coz they didn't give freezing. I've noticed that Hantu does that a lot on higher difficulties.

To Identify twins simply place Jesus somewhere, the fast twin will spawn on top of it just to show you it doesn't care.
