That'll do it. You can't realibly ascertain EMF 5 with the activity board. Polter abilities are a good example of something that can cause an apparent spike of 4-5 without it actually being EMF 5.

I've decided that a big gap in my experience is that I don't use cursed objects that aren't mirror, ouija, tarot, or voodoo doll.

The music box I get mostly but we've always found the room quickly enough to not need it, the handful of times I've turned it on I've gotten nothing at all even in the next room over from the ghost room.

Sometimes draining sanity or starting a hunt is exactly what you want. The music box can be used for a quick photo if you bring it close to the ghost. Summoning circle is also an easy photo op. Both of them count as a ghost event, too!
The Monkey Paw is fantastically good if you start seeing the downsides as upsides. Wishing for safety means the ghost can hear you or detect you electronics from anywhere, which means you can bring it anywhere. Wishing for sanity can change the ghost's favourite room which is fantastic if its way up top of Point Hope or somewhere annoying. The weather wish comes in useful on campsite maps a lot, and wishing to trap it is a good way to find the ghost's exact favourite room. It's multi faceted.

It's a tough one. What you're supposed to do is find the ghost, hide nearby while it's hunting and then run in and try to grab evidence quickly before it hunts again.
Though if you're good at picking up ghost hunting behaviours you can always just let it kill you and take a guess.

My experience with similar games to Phasmo are a lot more obscure ones that don't really come up in conversation.

One of them was interesting in that there was a lot of overlap with evidence, so you pretty much invariably had to test for some kind of unique behaviour

guys why do people prefer using tier 1 incense?

It depends on the person and their preference. Some prefer the tier one due to the stun time, they want to guess based off of the hunt rather it being stunned for longer

The tiers don't change the stun time. It's always 5 seconds (7.5s for Moroi). A lot of people prefer t1 because it doesn't affect the ghost speed

ouija board is good for getting those "use cursed objects" weekly objectives

motion sensors are awesome, sound sensors have very little use other than maybe large maps, i NEVER use them.

motion sensors will tell you when the ghost is leaving the room, or if you put them over salt, and see the motion sensor go off, but the salt is not disturbed, high chance the ghost is a wraith, since it clearly walked over the salt but didn't disturb it

there's an objective to get the ghost to walk through a motion sensor, and then as you progress up the difficulties they will have more uses especially in 0 evidence customs where you need to be able to track the ghost more granularly

all ghosts randomly whisper in a way that can only be heard in parabolic. that objective wants you to have that happen x number of times. it's easy just make sure you aim it toward the ghost to ensure you capture the audio, as parabolics capture sound in a cone shape, not 360 degrees
