The music box breaking because of 0% sanity starts a cursed hunt that doesn't have the +20 second duration, nor does future hunts. The summoning circle will also not have the +20 second duration if you run out of sanity specifically on the last candle or light it when a hunt has already started.
On the other hand, cards will trigger the +20 second longer duration for future hunts if you draw the full deck, or draw a Death card while stepping outside the investigation area.

If you pick up a thrown prop that has an active EMF signal and then 'stow' it by holding another item, you pause the EMF signal and it disappears off the activity board.

You can carry it off to the van if you don't have an EMF reader with you and want to check if its EMF 5, or you can repeatedly switch to it and away to make bizarre patterns on the monitor.

Yes, I'm pretty sure that's how it works. The "far twin" can't throw an item if the "close twin" - the actual ghost - is in a lit room, and the inverse is true.

For all I know they could have put in a special exception though, so don't quote me with confidence there.

counters are easier but they take longer to setup. If you die you wont be looping for a hot minute. The difficulty between looping either one isn't that much either

yea looping practice is nice on cww but the ghost will always be able to see you around the corners when ur looping
if u wanna practice the kind of looping where u stay crouched and the ghost doesnt see u (you move according to where the ghost is going)
that is done on the kitchen counters

You can always adjust speed settings too to make it easier at first, or inf sprint if you dont care about rewards. Just don't use it too much or it'll become a crutch

small map, easy to grind xp on, u always know where the ghost started hunting from which is pretty valuable info, you can pretty much figure out almost all ghosts even on no ev broken breaker

Rn there are 3 main maps to grind xp on brownstone, cww, and tangle, it mostly comes down to preference, but tw is slowest and brownstone is fastest

i mean yeah... on average, phasmophobia is a very easy game. you can keep making it harder for yourself which is fine and this is true of many games... many games are fairly easy to play yet involve challenges that are incredibly difficult

a normal apoc 3 game in general has a lot of skill behind it 99.99% of people attempting apoc 3 cant identify ghosts like jinn/goryo/mare without having to completely guess

no problem with that, tbh. The best way to be a well-rounded player is to work on 1 thing at a time. In NM, collect your 2 evidences, and look at the abilities, etc of the remaining ghosts. You don't have always loop ghosts, usually just observe it for a bit during a hunt and then smudge and hide.
