there's an Apoc III preset in Custom. That brings you to 15.10x (but it's capped at 15x). That means you can change 1 minor option easier by one notch. The most popular are setting hunts to Medium or changing Events to Medium.

Cost:

• 5 sanity for each pin except heart pin

• If you do not have enough sanity to use the voodoo doll, all remaining pins will push in and a cursed hunt will start.

EMF readings don't count for the objective while the ghost is near enough to it to cause disturbance during a hunt. Usually to get that from a hunt, you get it from something the ghost touched or threw during the hunt that's still EMF-active after the hunt ends.

I would say it’s preference. With the t2 UV you can just turn it on and leave it on the ground and with t3 UV you can point at a door you think the ghost touched.

torch uv is better for everything EXCEPT you can very easily place the glowstick near salt

torch you've pretty much gotta pick it up to see footprints, it's a pain to point at salt

Besides that I personally think it's got glowstick beat everywhere else (besides electronics; glowstick isn't electronic so it can literally just be left somewhere)

Head gear, UV, emf, and incense are the only things that really matter what tier you take
T3 emf is objectively the best but some people like the very obvious noises of t2
Pretty much all tiers of incense are good but t2 is probably the best imo
Each head gear does something different so it's entirely personal preference; t2 for small, indoor maps, t3 for everything else imo (t3 also works with flashlights disabled but t2 does not)
Already explained t3 uv but basically t2 for disabled flashlights or laying near salt, t3 for everything else

certain challenges or higher difficulties I sometimes take advantage of the smudge timer for making sure it's a spirit after 1 minute and 30 seconds after the first smudge has ended just to make sure it's safe sometimes I'll throw another one down around the 2 minute mark and it will affect normal ghost but not the spirit they will still hunt after the 3-minute timer because you cannot double up on them or any ghost when they're already smudged

I forgot what the third option is with that evidence but I know it's easy to rule out

hmm okay so one of the reasons why you cant retain information is because you have not seen it yet in person

for now, I suggest that when you play, play 3 evidences. Once you get all evidences, take note of what it does etc etc

search google "what does ___ do?"

With a myling: throw your emf or flashlight on ground and watch it. You wont hear the ghost until it's 12m away, just before your electronics start going wonky (like the emf or flashlight at your feet)

I probably got timed out 30 times with this game am blue screened. I never had so much issue with a video game and never blue screen kicked nothing. This is the only game that did it, and I love this game. I'm obsessed with this game.

as renegade said the twins are just a single ghost it can just do 2 interactions at once and hunt twice with very little gap between hunts one will be the fast twin hunt the other will be the slow twin hunt

taking the salt photos first, and smudging preferably with a t3 first then taking the photo helps significantly

doing it the other way around is very hard with the delay of the camera not allowing you to switch
