So when smudging the ghost and it's invisible if you have that objective and it checks off yes you can know that it smudged but you got to be careful ghosts like to wander out of the room so just smudging its ghost room doesn't mean you're smudging the ghost

You can use the smudge to escape you really want to be breaking line of sight constantly until you get very good at the game then you'll be able to loop a ghost easier

Use the tools that you were given the emf reader and the thermometer are good ways. once you learn about the maps, where the items are, you'll be able to walk into a room see if the items in the room were disturbed. the ghost is going to be in that room or at least very close

Most people will say no I mean there's some cliche things you can do with them like in multiplayer help from the van with speed you can put all four of them at different points of the large maps like high school

Can help with twins sometimes

I find them useful for edge cases, like ^ that, or for helping with a Jinn test or hearing footsteps from the van if someone's in there.

but there are other ways to do the things that sound sensors help with

especially helping with the jinn

I use them on big maps to help locate the ghost room and identify interactions from the van to prevent sanity drain

Brownstone and the asylum I use parabolics and sound sensors to really focus down where the ghost room is then when I’m in my setup phase I move the sound sensor into the van next to me camera so I can hear a poltersplosion or a yurei ability
Really I think sound sensors would be used more if we could attach them to tripods with the cameras but otherwise a lot of people don’t use them

1. Ability to go in backyard which is an added possible ghost room. Adding a large storage shed, a swingset, dog house, patio with lights and a hot tub...all for creating los blockers and better ambiance outdoors.

2. Change location of laundry room to go where guest bath is to combine the 2. Take out bathtub to make room. Remake laundry room into a pantry.

3. Add pots n pans to the island cupboards. A coffee maker that will start brewing. Make it so the microwave will start and not just beep. The beds will lift up for a second or 2(like ghost writing book).

it has a good learning curve. it's easy to pick up how to find evidence and figure out what ghosts are based on that. it'll ramp up to figuring out ghosts by their traits without figuring out evidence, and surviving without sanity (lower sanity = more likely to get hunted/killed)

Tiers make difference. For example tier 3 photo camera has a shorter delay, tier 3 sb has a bigger chance for the ghost to answer, tier 3 temps is faster and tier 3 vid cam is more clear. other items have more adds but i can't mention them all. blood moon has a 2% chance, and the weather does kinda affect temps. the temps will at the start be lower if outside is snowing. but after some time if the breaker is on it will be normal temps
