It’s not a mimic because I’m not getting spirit orbs as a third, it’s not a jinn because even when far it walks at a regular speed, and I don’t think it’s a Hantu because it doesn’t move any faster with the breaker off. But it is -9 degrees so maybe Hantu?

I'm aware of some kind of weird issue on Edgefield where the ghost spawns at like, 0,0,0 or something bizarre and you can get an immediate interaction near the front door and the actual ghost room can be anywhere

Hello all, so my friends and I are finally attempting Nightmare mode and trying to learn the ghost behaviors. Is it typical for the ghosts to mislead by say tossing the Ghost writing book, as a way to throw you off the scent of guessing the correct Ghost? We thought it was The Twins when it tossed the book, but ended up being Spirit. I feel cheated by the ghost, but good learning experience if someone has pointers

Spirit Box

The Spirit Box is one of the main evidence pieces in Phasmophobia. The purpose is to communicate with the Ghost, and aid in the investigation. Activate it by using your Right Click button (default).

How to use the Spirit Box is as follows:

Functions

1. Activate the Spirit Box and walk around in a dark room. While pressing either local or global voice chat, ask it questions.

2. The Spirit Box's responses are represented through icons and dots; if the X icon or red dot lights up, no response - If the Ghost icon lights up or white dot, the Ghost is speaking.

3. Try asking it questions like, "Where are you?" or "How old are you?" Icons lighting up during a Hunt does not count toward its evidence.
