I’m a newer player. I tried camp woodwind for the first time with my brothers. After 45 minutes of going round this map, we never found the ghost room. It showed hella activity but no one was experiencing anything, no one heard anything being thrown or had a ghost event near them. It even hunted a couple of times, we had no idea. What do you guys do to find the ghost room on the bigger maps? Keeping in mind we only have tier 1 stuff currently. On the smaller maps, it’s easy but these big maps are kicking our butts trying to find the room

I’ve made it through point hope and the prison successfully both on our first tries, by pure luck of seeing the ghost orbs on the camera for the prison and we got lucky with the Mare being on the third floor of the lighthouse but maple lodge respectfully sucked. I also strongly dislike the high school. But that’s just because those are the ones I’m not even decent at yet lol. I just unlocked sunny meadows and sunny meadows restricted. Have not tried it and I am not rushing to 😂

But now i am wondering does the timer stops when you leave the playing field to get some stuff out of the truck?

• An airball event rules out Oni, and they drain 20% sanity if they touch you in an event instead of 10%
• Banshees are more likely to do singing events (but any ghost can)
• Mares are more likely to do light-shattering events (but any ghost can)
• Shades are more likely to do shadow events (but any ghost can), are much less likely to do them the higher your average sanity, and won't do them at all if they're in the same room as a player
• Raijus cause electronic interference from further away during events (and hunts)
• Phantoms drain the sanity of anyone who can see them in an event, and if you take a ghost photo during one they'll disappear and be invisible in the photo

as a newbie, you're going to use the tools you're given to find evidence for the ghosts. each ghosts get three evidence (sidestep mimic, that one's an oddity.)
each ghost also have traits that you start learning and rely on as you advance with higher difficulty that hides evidence (which is why mimic is an oddity). that'll come later though.
