when your sanity is low enough, ghosts will be able to start hunts. generally, when they're not hunting they're hanging out in the ghost room, or roaming randomly out of the room to different areas. if the ghost randomly decides it wants to hunt, it will do a check to see if the ghost is within the range of a crucifix on the same floor of the building. if it is within range of a crucifix, it will burn the crucifix instead of hunting. t2 crucifix can be burned twice each, same for t3 crucifix, however an un-burnt t3 crucifix will also protect against a cursed hunt within its range, fully using up the crucifix when a cursed hunt happens within the range.

Grace period is set by difficulty, and can be set to any number between 0-5 seconds in a custom game. Cursed hunts always have a 1 second grace period, regardless of your settings.

Depends on what you're trying to do 😄 If you bring the max amount of items and die, you have to pay to replace them each time which if you're having trouble with money, then could be an issue.

you can literally leave halfway thgouht the game and collect money for pics and objectivbes. you dont have to stay until you die.

It's not silly! ❤️ You can use an EMF reader and it will light up when an object near you is thrown. If you have lights on, they will also flash when a ghost hunt starts.

yes you can verify game files in steam and all consoles. it ensures that the files you have are downloaded, uncorrupted, and latest version, and is faster than uninstall, download, reinstall
