If you use it, the ghost will start singing when you ger close enough. If you're within 5 meters of the ghost, a ghost event will trigger and at the end of it the ghost will hunt. If you throw the music box while it is on, the ghost will hunt instantly. If you place it down, like you so with the ghost writing book, it will work normally

I just double check evidence if I have an Onryo or Hantu, for Mimic. and if it's an impossible evidence ghost, it's Mimic
