Just remember there is always the chance that that any ghost could possibly not be in the photograph if you take a picture of it at just the end of the event.
The best way to identify the phantom "besides blink hunt speed" is when you take the picture the ghost disappears but the event sounds are still happening.

lot of people look for the room where the ghost started a hunt at when focusing on goryo, but this is inconsistent, because goryo can start a hunt from the location of a ghost event, or can start a hunt mid-roam. What you should be looking at is what room it goes to immediately after a hunt or immediately after a crucifix burns. if the room is small enough you can put motion sensors in there, and if the ghost is a goryo, it will without fail set the motion sensors off after every single hunt or crucifix burn. Don't get it confused with banshee or yurei, yurei may have been locked in the room and never had a chance to change rooms, and banshee also just cannot change rooms, so do other tests for banshee

I usually rule out goryo or banshee if it changes ghost room or pick one of them if it hasn’t changed its ghost room at all (we have roaming and changing rooms on high). if you know modular arithmetic then just imagine every time the onryo blows out a flame, it adds 1 to a counter, and if counter % 3 == 0 then it will try to hunt unless there are other lit flames in range, the counter never goes back to 0 and will always increase by 1 every time the ghost blows out a flame

-> no cruci? yay successful hunt

any time it blows out a 3rd candle the blowout counter resets. so if it blows out a 3rd flame, it tries to hunt and resets the counter to 0, then if it fails because of a nearby flame it'll blow that flame out and the counter goes to 1

I heard that leaving a DOTS projector on the room if the ghost doesn't have it as evidence will reduce the chance for the ghost to do any of its other evidences as it will get stuck trying to interact with it.

I have never fact checked this but I will turn off the projector after a while if I don't get D.O.T.S for a while.

only time i get motion sick in vr is like, in vehicles, and mostly only if i stand up. e.g if im piloting a starship in nms VR and i try to stand up

it is quite nice, though I wonder if they should add a vision thingie to help people with the motion sickness

yea see... now if the dude transfers progress to console.. boom thats now a console player with xx-5000+ and its impossible to hack on console so it now seems legit

there is a setting to help with it, where you just make 90 degree turns instead of just looking around which kinda helped, kinda didn't
