The music box works like the following;

Upon activating the music box, the ghost will sing! Revealing the ghost’s exact location! If the box is thrown onto the floor, a hunt will start immediately! If the player gets close enough to where the ghost is standing, with the music box still in hand, it’ll cause an event to happen, where you will see the ghost walk towards the cursed possession and pick it up. After this event happens, a hunt will begin immediately after.

Placing the box on the ground will prevent the cursed object from immediately starting a cursed hunt.

Once close to the ghost with the music box, it’s best to place it on the floor a few metres from the ghost!

Cause phasmo is built on unity, hence the sheer amount of bugs currently residing in the game. These variables might not affect those with high quality pcs, but those on lower specs notice the impact Phasmo has on their respective devices. Even I myself have specs far beyond what’s required to play Phasmo, and still freeze completely randomly or get temporary lag when switching to certain evidence items.

If they were to make Phasmo 2, it would be due to the limitations of Unity.

Are you suggesting a new feature be added, aka adrenaline? If so, that’s not needed, taking sanity medication over a certain tier gives you temp inf stamina

Well realistically, you wouldn’t even bloody reach the same speeds, due to muscle exhaustion and lack of stamina. That’s why Olympic runners can only travel at certain speeds for a short duration of time… humans aren’t quadrupedal, so… we aren’t naturally designed for high speed. Ostriches on the other hand, are a good example of a creature that can run fast on two legs

It is annoying that EMF turns off when you cycle it; I consider that a bug b/c it's inconsistent w/ other items. However those things certainly shouldn't function when stored, b/c that's part of the basic game mechanics, and new players have a hard enough time hiding during hunts as it is.

When one of the main hunt mechanic revolves around ghosts being able to find you with electronics being turned on while you hold them, the amount of people who would suddenly complain because they left their EMF on but in a different inventory slot would skyrocket. There’s already plenty of folks who don’t grasp “my headcam is on, why did the ghost find me?” so adding yet another thing that doesn’t auto-turn off would make it that much more annoying.

Whats the difference between a Ghost Hunt and a Ghost Event? I saw a video that Ghosts dont instantly move during a hunt and give a few seconds before moving, and with an event they move instantly, but i got a Ghost Hunt and it moved instantly, why is that?

that's the grace period before each hunt to give you a chance to get safe. you have the grace period set to 0 seconds I guess. the ghost won't appear until the grace period ends but it will make noise so you know it's there and to move away

ghost events they stay still but make sound and appear ( shadow or physical with red lights ) when it hunts you can tell because you normally have walking sounds and a noise connected to it

During a hunt the ghost will(depending on the settings) have a grace period, it will have ONE hunt sound and the front door will lock

Well the cursed object can be anywhere really. It probably didn't move instantly, if not - you only saw it was hunting when it appeared and started moving

Ghosts aren't supposed to hunt at all if the house is empty. That's a bug.

Particularly active ghosts are ones like Thaye and Poltergeist
