When the twins hunts it tosses a coin to decide "which twin" hunts. 50% of the time it'll hunt near the last spot the "decoy twin" interacted with something (i.e the 8 meter interaction radius). This check is applied after the crucifix check, so what can end up happening is the ghost itself roamed away from the crucifix, but when it hunted, the fast twin won the coin toss allowing it to spawn near the crucifix

Basically how the twins work:

• Their ability has an extra interaction radius (8m on small maps, 16m on medium/large) on top of the regular one
• Whenever they use their ability they will interact with one thing within the regular range of the ghost, and another thing within the larger radius
• When they hunt, there's a 50% chance of it being the "slow twin", which will hunt from where the ghost actually is
• The other 50% is the "fast twin" which will hunt near the last place it interacted with using the large radius allowing it to skirt a crucifix by attempting to hunt outside its radius then teleporting back into the radius

Hey guys I’m level 78, but I’m still having trouble identifying ghosts in no evidence, there’s a bunch I can figure out but would someone mind showing or sending me a page that could display some tests I could run to figure out the ghosts on camp woodwind?

You can use salt to test for wraith, make sure you also check for orbs because orbs is forced for the mimic. Record the time you smudged the ghost. (set a timer that counts up) A demon can hunt after 60 seconds of being smudged. Any normal ghost can hunt after 1:30 seconds after being smudged. A spirit can hunt 3 minutes after being smudged. You can still perform the onryo test with the candles in the ghost room.

Try turning on the light near your hiding spot (like the hallway light) before the next hunt starts. When the hunt is over, the lights turn off.

You can usually see the light bleed through the closet doors a bit to help you see when it's done

there are still a few hiding spots. But you may have to get more creative avoiding getting seen and/or learn to loop ghosts without hiding spots. Use smudges efficiently

I was just on 42 Edgefield with custom settings and changing ghost room was set to off. The ghost was set up in the bathroom as soon as you head up the stairs. I had two crucifixes placed down in the center of the upstairs bathroom and all of the general detection equipment. I was baiting it for a ghost photo. (Ghost was an Obake). I had watched the crucifix burn up twice and the second one was still good. I saw my flashlight start messing up and I assumed it was going to start a walking ghost event to me from the hallway/bedroom next door. It instead hunting from outside its favorite room and killed me in the bathroom. Was it something I could have done wrong that caused it to hunt from outside its favorite room with changing room off?

Depends exactly what you're using the smudge for a lot of people will use the parabolic my phone to listen to the ghost for its speed but if you think you have to get into it to chase you a t1 smudge won't slow it down so you get a better idea of its speed if you're going for the picture and it's not a deo then t3 stops it but it is a pain to switch off camera in time.

The ghost will force a hunt after blowing out three flames from any flame source. This includes your lighter, a campfire, the fireplaces in point hope, etc. The flames behave like a 4m radius crucifix when lit, so if you have 4 flames or more, it will block the forced hunt.

If the ghost kills someone, the amount of fires needed to hunt is reduced. After it kills 2 players, every blowout will force a possible hunt if not otherwise blocked.

You've got 1 minute of setup time, the breaker is on the map, and all hiding spots are available. I went in with a smudge and crucifix to figure out where the ghost room is and buy myself some time to get evidence gear up. Having a friend or two can definitely help (but kills extend hunts is on, too)

Yeah. Especially with the T1 spirit box, even when the ghost has Spirit Box evidence, the lights are off, and you're near the ghost, you may have to try several times.
