No it's not. A ghost with UV evidence CAN leave footprints after stepping in salt. But most other ghosts can also step in salt. They just don't leave footprints then.

The ghost has to step in the salt AND walk, leaving footsteps temporarily you can see with the UV if that ghost has UV evidence. They go away pretty quick and sometimes the ghost is a butt and steps in salt but stands still. So yes it’s true but it needs to move 😅

Glowsticks (the T2 UV) don't count as an electronic so you can hold it in your hand during hunts and use it as a light source if you don't want to use flashlights! Lots of people like the T2 UV.

Doesn’t really matter too much if you do. Crouching is only important when you’re avoiding Line of Sight when looping around the kitchen islands

Some people crouch to try and cut line of sight (it’s how people loop around kitchen counters for example) but it’s not required
