Ghost is on the second floor, I hide in a classroom on the first floor. I track the ghost with parabolic mic. I get the chevron pointing upwards on its movement. I even look at the only door into the class room. Nothings coming in through there, but the ghost moves right on top of me and then appears right next to me.

You don't really need map knowledge for this, you just have to be patient and move from room to room with your items and wait for hunts. For the ghost pic you gotta time the hunt so the ghost comes to you close to the end of the hunt which lowers risk of dying

If you hide behind the kitchen counter when the ghost is near, and start speaking- if the ghost doesn't come to you it's a yokai.

Are the ghost chances weighted?

I have done around 40-60 contracts these last two days and I got 0 revs, obakes and shades. On the other hand I got 3 mimics and 3 deos. I am not complaining, I just find it weird.

Usually it's easy to escape a Deo. But sometimes you don't have where to run so you have to get closer to it, so it slows down and you can stall it till the end of the hunt.

especially if you start out with a full group of level 1s, this game is extremly hostile to beginners.

@sudden chasm Btw, I just remembered. If you want to get familiar with the map. You can play on 'challenge difficulty' on any map. You have like two days to play with friendly ghost on any map and still get money.

I only used a Tier 2 Paramic (Which was useless), a tier 3 camera, but anything would do the trick, 4 T1 smudges and 1 T1 crucifix.

And, if it was possible it would require to know how the RNG generator used in the game works. Theoretically possible if someone is given a huge sample size, impossible in practice as no computer would be able to handle the calculations.
