I tend to mainly stick with tier 3 equipment, headgear being the main exception. Tier 2 headgear is my favourite because it lets me have (imo) a decent flashlight without taking up a slot for other items.

Some people like T1 thermo because it’s passive temp readings. You can chuck it in the ghost room and check it later after getting the rest of your items/evidence

The glow stick doesn’t count as an electronic because it’s a glow stick, so lots of people prefer it over the T1/T3 flashlight UVs

You can also shake it and chuck it on the ground so it’s easier to come back and see UV on doors and stuff if the ghost touches stuff while you’re not in the room

t1 thermo is good as it wont go below the actual room temp so although it keeps going up and down you only need to look at lowest number and you can leave it in room and just check now and then nice and quick

The only reason to still use T1 thermo is if you're one of those people who sets up a TV studio in the ghost room and watches everything from the van

If you take a flashlight, the upgrades are worth it. Tbh if you're not dying too much you'll be able to afford every upgrade as soon as you get it and still have plenty left over.

You could stop at T2 UV if you wanted, but all the other evidence item upgrade are good. I don't like T3 incense, but some people do, personal preference.

so Shade is a shy ghost and won't do any interactions while you're in the room with it. That can make both EMF5 and Writing harder to get if you're hanging out in the ghost room. EMF5 is a 25% chance per interaction, so just keep checking for it when the ghost does things. For writing, make sure you're placing the book, not just dropping it. (I've seen new players do that before)

Hang out in the next room and run in to check when you hear/see something. Keep the lights off in the ghost room; ghosts won't throw things if the light is on in their current room. But also keep the lights on in the next room to keep your sanity from draining, at least until you're comfortable with the sanity drain/hunt mechanics. You'll start to get a feel for how much time you can spend in the dark before you expect a hunt.

Well.. It is possible, if you get an event or have a DOTS ghost. But the weekly is just about getting the ghost correct 3 times. Everything else doesn't matter.

It was in the high school map. I was gonna turn on the fuse for high school map and I got stuck. It was the second floor to the left and then take a right I was so mad because I knew what the ghost was and It was in challenge mode too but I had to leave and didn’t get my XP😂😭

All doors a closed from the beginning, so just look for an open door. The ghost will be in that room or the ones close to that room
