It would be nice if talking to dead players became a feature and not a bug. You could enable/disable depending on how you want to play. I enjoy chatting with my mates after they're dead and it will suck if/when they patch out the glitch..

There are other ways to chat with friends while playing though.
Being able to talk with recently deceased teammates takes the immersion out of this game a touch, not to mention its more of an exploit and shouldnt be used.

It doesn't remove it for me. And if my friends and I want to exploit it, who cares? If you don't want to talk to the deceased, turn the feature off.

We could switch to discord for death talk and take the immersion out of it. What's the difference except it's easier to chat in the game?

i agree with the immersion breaking, and general broken nature of it. say we are playing and its a deo, if i know its a deo and die to it, if i can speak to alive people i can just say deo and everyone knows, and then the investigation is over.

Real answer to why this is the case is that there’s absolutely no tie into the amount of players vs the multiplier amount - the multiplier never checks this (which is kind of a no shit statement to say, but I think it’s important to note this)

They’d need to rewrite a chunk of the modifier code to get it to work.

They’d need to somehow manage to get it to store the base multiplier with a single player for saving the preset, and then the difficulty would have to refresh when a lobby is not only a multiplayer lobby, but also ensure that it has other players in this. Then they have to make sure that this dynamic refresh doesn’t make the multiplier higher than 15.

I got like 5 and died to 4 of them. I had all the objectives completed on one attempt, but the ghost room was so far away from the entrance I couldn’t escape alive lol. I was trapped in a hallway.

Yeah, but in my situation I was at the very end of a hallway. By the time I reached the other end the hunt would start and I couldn’t escape.

But on my 5th Deogen I finally completed it.

I’ve only been playing since consoles came out, so I still have some learning to do.

Like Ghost footsteps. The only two I can tell based on footsteps alone is Deogen and Revenant lol
