Yes and no. If a candle (or candles) is burned three times, it will attempt to start a hunt. That attempt can be cancelled if another candle is lit, and it will be blown out and count towards the next hunt count of 3.

The best way to think about it is, as LONG as ur not the selected target… You have complete immunity to the ghost. It won’t aggro, it won’t catch line of sight and you can make as much noise as u want

Don’t forget on harder gamemodes, the ghost room switches more commonly. So if you do just stay in the shades ghost room, it can roam and make another room it’s favourite

Mares can’t turn on lights, this includes TVs… so you can cross them off that way. Sucks you don’t play with the breaker… since it’s an essential part of the game in many different ways, from figuring out certain ghosts without evidence, to helping you monitor ur sanity, as it allows you to calculate how much you have, as well as control when it drops and when it doesn’t
