Yes, when you smudge it starts a timer after the hunt ends, so start your timer after the hunt ends and normal ghosts hunt after 1:30 demons can hunt before and spirts have to hunt after 3 minutes

Well I don't die all the time, but where there's a hunt there's no way to escape since the door is locked. But that's not the issue, it's just that the income is much lower than the cost of gear, and without gear I guess there's no point of doing anything.
