Task manager doesn't tell you much info for that. You need hardware monitoring programs for temp readings and more accurate readings. Msi afterburner good for gpu stuff. Also can check cpu temps with it

I actually got really good at identifying ghosts by hunt and patterns early on and after using cheat sheet a bit when I unlocked custom I went straight to 0 ev and set up 3 evidence like 4.2X for easy cash when needed it cause I thought if I play harder difficulty all I’m gonna do is get better now I don’t even need cheat sheet

Just kind of threw my self in the deep end when I could and I died a lot tbh but at same time it was making me better cause I was remembering my mistakes of ah it’s a raiju cause I had electronics on the floor but they weren’t turned on and it was just normal los boost I clipped it and re watched it and remembered my mistake then looked over and was able to tell on the replay where I went wrong and then realised like ah it was quite slow at first noticing it was slow twin on the replay

It will check for crucifix in range of the ghost location before deciding which "Twin" to spawn, so the "fast twin" may end up spawning on your crucifix if unlucky enough.

each optional objective is 3 points
ghost correct is 10pts + your difficulty multiplier rounded down (so total on professional for example would be 13)
doesnt do anything other than give you points & it only matters for leaderboard & Daily/Weekly tasks since the event is completed already

It was a lot at first, I was getting frustrated playing single player bc I never got the ghost or understood how each device worked, so I just watched some tutorials last night and got my first ghost single player this morning. Upgraded to multiplayer bc I felt like I wouldn’t piss people off- I could actually contribute. Learned so much already

Anyone know how to protect yourself against the twins? Crucifix placements, how to predict which ghost is going to attack, etc?

You can't really predict which Twin is going to attack. I've had a few instances where I've only had the slow twin appear during hunts, same with the faster twin. As for crucifix placement against one, try to place another one roughly around the edges of the first one's radius (with some slight overlap), it should give you a lot of coverage.
