I'm not console players, but sometimes when my VC is weird on PC, I just have to change from Push to Talk to voice activated and back.

And a lot of times on PC people that have voice issues or Spirit box issues have a setting wrong in there system options like the option let programs take exclusive control of this device can mess it up

Unless you have Windows recognition mode on and then you also gotta double press that Windows key because that is a 10-year-old window bug now or more

One of the other things is that the microphone has to be plugged in, on and unmuted and that setting has to be set correctly before the games even started so it detects it 100% correctly

And the last thing was most people tried to use global chat in the lobby and that doesn't work

Don't worry about it took me and my best friend a day or so to figure out what was wrong on their end turns out it was the party chat thing and the global chat thing.

Oh and if you're trying to detect your microphone besides using other players to hear you make sure you're in a multiplayer lobby when checking options because that meter doesn't move in a single player lobby

i watched a semi-old video of Insym yesterday getting a raiju wrong because it wasn't speeding up with LoS
thought it was a thaye
it was in range of his flashlight the whole time
he asked Psycho who actually tests these things and Psycho confirmed Raiju has no LoS when sped up due to electronics
so it's actually faster with max LoS and you can slow it down by turning electronics on XD

PET says that Demon can only hunt at 70% sanity unless it uses its activity, in which case it can hunt at any sanity. Does that mean it's just any sanity, not 70? Not like you can disable its ability

like only about half of the demons i've met have ever hunted
i usually spend ~10-15 minutes on a contract
never below 70%
whereas if you spend 10 minutes in the map with any ghost in its actual hunting range it will hunt

tbf tier 1 crucifix doesn't have a very good radius even under the best circumstances

if it doesn't cover the whole room i put one so it just reaches to the entrance of the room (and don't go deep in the room myself, so it can't corner me)
and one just outside the room to cover my escape if the ghost is feeling roamy

Honestly, the unofficial phasmo ghost sheet helped me get it, but honestly I had to learn 0 evidence runs, and while I am still wrong 50% of the time, the fact that I can now call it right half the time is what helped the most

I thought of an interesting idea for a potential new Phas ghost if new ghosts eventually get added to this game - A ghost that's the opposite of a Shade/Goryo where it's a "Show-Boat" ghost that will ONLY do EMF 5/DOT's/Writing if you are in the room and won't if you aren't. Forced Writing if you're on Nightmare/Insanity Mode as a distinguishable trait. And it actually works too because no other ghost has that three evidence combo. I think it'd be interesting to have an opposite ghost to a Shade/Goryo. What do you guys think?

yes and no, if a UV ghost steps through salt and you hear footsteps, it will leave footprints. If you dont' hear steps, it may have stepped in the salt and stopped, which happens, and it won't leave footprints. They also only last like 10-15 seconds so you really need to be there to check when it happens
