They check for cruci before they decide which twin it gets to be. If fast twin, it can jump to anywhere in its extended range, which can be on top of a cruci (if I’m understanding it right)

When twins checks for hunt, they do the cruci check from where its at. Then it chooses fast or slow. If slow it starts there at current location. If fast, can choose a spot in its extended radius to teleport to and start there instead, which means yes it can be ontop of a cruci since it already did that check

If the ghost changes favourite rooms and you're sure it did you can rule out Banshee and Goryo. But Goryo is absolutely the last ghost on 0 evidence, it's the one you confirm by elimination.

Depends on the diff but if you’re on nightmare or insanity and the ghost doesnt move rooms in about 15 mins then u know u have a goryo

It's very common for other ghosts to not change rooms in 15 minutes, even with changing rooms on high.

Especially if you never hit low sanity, ghosts will frequently go a full 20-30 minutes without changing rooms

Waiting around for the ghost to not do something is a bad spend of time, so I would advise doing other tests until you get it down to Yurei/Goryo.

If you have access to sanity it's best to just sit around on 40% sanity a while and see if it hunts. Otherwise you use motion sensors to track its location and see if it goes dead silent when you're in its room, or just go by "vibes" of very low activity.

If you have a voodoo doll you can test for Shade by pushing in pins while standing in the same room and see if absolutely no interactions happen - but that can cause a cursed hunt right on top of you so do be careful

Just had the most confusing game ever, a ghost which was not active for a good 15 mins, playing insanity I got ghost writing. As the game went on it got more and more active, following me into several rooms, turning the lights off in those rooms and eventing over and over again, I was convinced it was a moroi, but it was a shade? Are they usually like that?

if you are playing insanity, you have to be aware of the ghost's forced evidences. Moroi has forced Spirit Box. WIth writing on the board, it can never be a moroi
