Hunt Threshold:
75% scaling to a minimum 15% after aging.

Unique/Hidden Abilities/Descriptions:
Thaye ages as time goes on if there is a player nearby. Starting very active and aging to a very slow, inactive ghost. Hunting threshold, activity, speed, and ghost event chance will all decrease the longer you are near the ghost. Starting hunt threshold is 75% dropping all the way down to a minimum of 15%. Thaye lower its speed when it ages. Starting at 2.7m/s and lowering to a minimum of 1m/s
Each age lowers the speed by 0.175m/s. No Line of sight acceleration. When asking "How old are you" on the ouija board, the Thaye will respond differently depending on it's age.
Note: As of Ascension update, Thaye no longer has increased chance for DOTS and Writing.

One day with a challenge is better than just effectively being gifted a trophy. Hell, if the issue is not to release too soon, do what Minecraft do. 5 challenges, released once every day or two, with all old challenges being completable on subsequent days.

I think you're misunderstanding that they actually listened to the feedback and they didn't want everybody angry because you only had 1 or 2 days to claim it I think it's working perfectly fine as is now all the ones before this except for the Halloween everybody would claim in an hour or two this a couple of days long works out well

Who cares. It’s a community event. The point is to make an achievable goal with a reward. It would look bad to have community events where the players frequently don’t reach the goal… and the rewards ain’t even all that anyway.

No. I'm someone who thinks a trophy should be earned, even in small part. The challenge itself is the issue. It's intellectually dishonest. It is not a challenge at all. It is engineered for us to complete passively with over a week left to claim the rewards. We are not the difference between the event being completed or failing, we only get the ability to nudge completion forward by a few hours.

It isn't a challenge in any part. A challenge can be failed.

You do realise the old challenges could be completed on ANY DAY of the seasonal period? By supporting community challenges, you are supporting a SHORTENING of this window.
