All ghosts can double touch doors, so you do need to see the door close. But if I see it close I have never been wrong. Yurei door slams are actually a real slam. So fast in fact the door shutting sound is delayed beyond the door actually closing.

it used to pre-0.9 b/c writing was just a simple interaction, similar to DOTS. Now the books have their own chance to get the ghost to interact w/ them by their radius

Played camp woodwind with a friend and when the hunt started and the ghost came to us, i used smudge stick and we both went into a toilet.
But shortly after the ghost came right to us and killed him without opening the door or such..

I thought they have to search for you? We didnt talked and both had our flashlight turned off.. do you have to drop electronic stuff or what?
He said the spiritbox was still on but I think if its not in your hand active, its not really on right - i am confused how they always find us even with stuff turned off hm

Yeah nothing can be on. If you see the emf is on turn it off just like a thermo or parabolic. If you have a photo camera in your hand it can’t be turned off so drop it before you get in or swap to something else

If you were hiding in the bathroom stalls I know doors aren’t a guarantee to hide you. Closet door and locker door works better but any other door not so much

Oh yeah those stalls break line of sight but aren't actual hiding places, it won't have to open the door to kill you but also, I've been killed in the mini tents without the door being opened

It could have seen the tail-end of one of y'all, maybe your back or something, but otherwise once the smudge ends the ghosts do roam (and depending on smudge level roam slowly or regularly during the smudge) so that may have been bad luck, or it seeing your backs when the smudge ended

Sometimes you don’t need a smudge if you are good enough like tangle wood. In the garage you can lose los by crouching behind the car and just keep breaking Los as you are going around it till the hunts over
