It was a Mimic in the East Wing, so I was pretty fortunate overall. Had a couple of lucky moments where it Wraith teleported to me in the foyer, then my crucifix saved me. Put down salt, EMF and motion sensors to do another test, then it Banshee roamed to me. Finally after about 35 minutes it decided to Deogen hunt me.

The unique wail over the parabolic microphone has a 33% chance of occuring. If you get 8 non-Banshee paranormal sounds, you can say you're 95% confident it's not a Banshee. 12 non-Banshee sounds to say you're 99% confident.

It's a bit crazy how fast games can go. When I first started it took me 30-40 minutes to identify ghost on the small map. Now it takes like 10-15 with all objectives done.

I could be wrong about this but im pretty sure the volume increase as it gets closer to you is the same for both myling and other ghosts. The difference is myling’s footstep volume begins as 12m and normal is 20m. In other words if both are 5m away from you, a myling footstep would be more quiet

I think honestly it would be better if they added more mechanics instead of new maps. I mean, new ghost events in style of 'Im in observation duty'. Where events only happen on camera and help identify the ghost. Like demon can actually appear as a demon on camera or something

The Onryo has a hidden counter. Whenever it blows out a firelight, the counter increases by one. Once the counter reaches 3, it resets to 0, then attempts a hunt within 6 seconds. If the Onryo attempts to hunt within 4 meters of a firelight, it treats the firelight like a crucifix and blows it out, which increases the counter.

Turn ghost events to low if you go the grinding route. events still drain sanity and a ghost cannot hunt during an event so if you have one you either have to touch it to end it (dropping you to hunting thresholds for some other ghosts) or you waste 10 seconds listening to a ghost taunt you

tbf what I do with my lobby is that I ask them to stand into the adjacent rooms

if the ghost does not interact at all its a shade

so basiaclly not just standing in the ghost room

but all the rooms a shade can go into

that's why I was contradicting what you said - not necessarily the ghost room

Simply put: shade Interaction range is a radius, but checks if it's in the same room as the player before doing an interaction.

T2 cam is smaller on the screen, making your claim ok. During Hunt tho it is heavily disrupted so i would say its ok

not really T2 > T3 but id say T2 and T3 are interchangeable

the spirit box is one of the most jumpscare pieces of equipment bc of how finicky ghosts seem to be in responding to it. You'll go around asking questions and get nothing, throw it down into the ghost room, and then ten minutes later when you're asking your friend for a smudge stick it speaks up from the floor like "I'm behind you"
