I believe a lot of point hopes doors (and maybe some other maps) on the higher floors have this issue
If the door is slightly cracked it'll swing it open, but if its closed it still correctly counts as closed so idk what the deal is

also the double touch sound on point hope doors is tougher to distinguish but that might just be me

hello guys and girls, new here! I've been playing alot recently and not really had an issue until the past week or so, I'm really struggling to find (and often get the wrong ghost) cause I don't get Freezing Temperatures... Any tips to help with the current phasmo meta for finding freezing temps?

Make sure the temps are going below 0C on the T1 thermo. Cold breath only means the room is 5C or below

If you know where the ghost room is, you could kill the breaker and wait a few minutes to see if the ghost gets the temps to drop. Roamy ghosts make freezing temps hard to find sometimes.

I have 200 hours, been playing for a few years now so I know all that but recently, it's just been insanely hit and miss for freezing temps, will sit in the ghost room for like 5 minutes sometimes with a thermo and get nothing, only to find out that evidence was there all along

When that happens and it's not ruled out completely, I smudge the room and check. 99% of the time it'll drop if it is truely freezing. Always works for me when I'm suspicious of revs cuz they're a-holes

I was on professional. I was in that stupid game for 20+ minutes. I had every tier 3 camera in and around the ghost room with both tier 3 dots, sat in the truck forever and it never gave dots 😦

it's a bug that occurs when a ghost goes into dots state at the right time when it starts a hunt. bypassing the fail safes to make it visible.

Its a known bug. Its when the ghost hunts while in DOTS state. It will be invisible and no footsteps. Might be visible with a dots projector... but if its a goryo, yer SOL

a Ghost with DOTS evidence MIGHT hunt during it's DOTS state.

Imagine this, the ghost might roll for actions every now and then, once the ghost enter's DOTS state then suddenly rolls HUNT, you will be hunted by a DOTS State Ghost, instead of the physical form it usually have

there is a failsafe in place to force back to normal before start, but this instance bypasses it

That was only one of the issues... the ghost also killed you when it was smudged if you ran into it

I think they finally fixed the t3 smudge actually blinding the ghost and not have it gain LoS while smudged
