I've made a mock-up of a 'check the pins' reaction
While the recycle idea is good for ideas that have been suggested before but haven't made the pins, a lot of folks will just keep suggesting it because they think it means people disliked the idea. This often means that pinned suggestions get overlooked, since people seem to refuse to read pins.

I'm hoping that by adding this reaction alongside the star and recycle reaction, people will check the pins when they post something that's in the pinned comments and get the reaction, and maybe even see some other pinned suggestions that they were going to repeat.

I could also make one of a similar type that indicates it's on the trello board or other similar ones!

Hey guys! No idea if this is the right channel to put this in or not, so apologies. I made an AutoHotkey script that makes it so the player will run by default. You can hold shift to walk. I got tired of constantly holding shift, so until DK implements running changes, this should hopefully be useful!

I did a thing... that allows you to keep viewers up to date with found evidence using an unobtrusive browser source and companion web application.

The screen shots below show left what is being displayed on the overlay and right is the big button control (that you can use on a phone, tablet or web browser.

You can also use your own icons and custom css. The current icons are designed by Quagmire1428.

Its not quite ready for everyone to use but i can set streamers (Big or Small) up if they want to test, just send me a message on discord or twitch.

I am also planning in the future to develop stream deck buttons for each evidence type.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GsxqYGv3b6OcJ6gDWP57ygQscEXI_jET/view?usp=sharing I created some StreamDeck and StreamDeck XL profiles (No Mini at this time) with buttons for interacting with the Phasmophobia widget by GlitchedMythos for streamers, and there is also "Guest Mode" (Mods/VIPs) buttons in a folder as well so you can interact with the streamers chat as well to assist them. You need the BarRaider twitch plugin for Streamdeck for them (it's in the StreamDeck's store in the app, easily downloaded) except the guest mode folder contents. That uses the text based entry from Elgato in the app. Please review the commands as they use abbreviations from his standard on some of them, you can change them to match yours. There are profiles for the 15 button and 32 button models. You can set them to switch to the profiles as well when phasmo opens. All buttons automatically enter after pressing except the name and objective entry ones (they just type the commands for you and you must finish them, saves you typing !oo etc). I left icons off them so that you can customize them yourself. I am also known as "CapBipto" on Twitch. If you like them, you can find the CaptainsContagious discord and thank me!

did you restore the appropriate profile for the appropriate stream deck type?oh the obj sets were accidentally included, I was working on a way to nest folders for each type so as to have a one button solution for each possible combination. I started seeing that this would become a problem and stopped doing them. I will fix the files and replace them. I have fixed the files. When I have the obj sets figured out, I'll include them.,

UPDATE: I'm working on the next version, and should have it up in the next day or so with instructions and more functionality. I am working on a matrix of keys to allow multiple types of things but it would require nested folders that I don't have the time to address, so I'm making the next best thing, and maybe it will work well for everyone. The layouts for the XL will be done first, as the smaller devices will take longer to figure out what to put on each page and how to handle it.

UPDATE #2: V2 of the XL screens are done and the download is updated. I'm working on the smaller device screens, may be making them multiple pages with arrows to switch between them. That will take a lot longer because the lower number of buttons requires more keypresses and more thinking out the layouts.

You'll find a "backup" folder in the layout that you can simply copy to put in your main profile so you don't have to switch to my profile you import.

Discovery of another site that lists spawns has caused the amount of ouija board spawns to almost double!

Combined info reveals 55 spawns, in 53 rooms. The wiki says there are 54 spawns, so maybe there's one that doesn't appear on either map? If you find one please let me know!

Yes. However, in-game can be a bit annoying to use. It doesn't show all available ghosts at the same time, you have to memorize which ones it can be, then go and check their pages for evidence. Its nice to see user creations and the evolution of ghost hunting

It doesn't show them all at once however this is a problem that can be fixed in game. Using outside sources put the player at a huge disadvantage as they are not looking at the screen. Thus making the person have slower response to a hunt. More so if they're inside the ghost room the danger is much higher. Someone suggested boxes instead of the current evidence layout. Making outside sources irreverent to people already in game.

Personally the journal is much harder to use in VR. However I use the in game regardless of PC/VR @vague field

Unless proof given, they dont spawn there normally. Afaik, mbr closet, utility, dining, and basement are the only locations the board can spawn on the map as well as being the only places ive seen it spawn in 'a few' hundred hours of playtime.

Hi, I don't know if it has already been mentioned, but in the HS map you have 2 Room 32A, but no 32 or 32B that I can find anywhere.

||Same number, means its the same room. For example, the science classrooms - the ghost sees all three rooms of each as part of one large room. The only reason I split 32 into A, B and C is so the staircase breaker spawns can be shown.

Also, some room numbers are shown multiple times so as to show the extent of the rooms, as some are quite large.||

The ghosts occasionally move the mannequins, sometimes just changing the direction, sometimes placing them in entirely different rooms. I had one time where my group was at Grafton, I had just gone inside the twin bedroom downstairs and it was pretty much empty. Ran back to the truck to grab a camera because someone had found the ghost's room and when I was running back inside I saw three mannequins in front of the window in the twin bedroom facing outside.

That was the way I found out that they can move lol

I was thinking about another ghost model and was thinking hmm.... we need another child... they can be scary. Then it hit me.... has anyone suggested the Black Eyed Children? the ones that have no eyes or mouths and they crawl around and lurk in corners? I think that would be a good one, pretty unsettling. they usually appear as a girl wearing a white dress or something of the likes, with long white hair, the eyes are literally voidless sockets

It's red. There is an orange indicator, but it's exclusive to the School guide (representing ||the rooms without doors||)

Oh, it looks like an orange/pink/red color, imo it should be a bit of a darker red because it’s extremely confusing to have something that doesn’t really look red be described as red

I have all the colours at the same level of saturation and value so unfortunately its not quite as simple. I'll definitely give the exact hue a check though!
Update: As it turns out, the colour is very slightly off - red has a hue of 0, and orange has a hue of 30 - as it turns out, the hue used for the red indicator is 7. I'll update them, but I likely won't post the updates until some other changes are made simply because its not worth the clutter it'd create.

Oh! I wasn't the only one seeing it as orange (but honestly it was a detail as it's easily distinguishable from the others. I'm more bothered by the violet/purple which too close to magenta to differenciate them on the map >.<).
Anyway thanks for sharing your work, it's really clear and useful, quite a nice idea you got there ^^

The issue with the violet is that there aren't many available colours. Other than the purple used in Prison and HS, I make sure to keep them all at the same tint (with the coloured background on purple rooms, the purple text at the normal brightness would be virtually unreadable). Let me know if you have potential ideas for an alternative!

Hmmm.. .Yeah... 🤔 I was thinking about a more blueish purple (like the one used for the edgefield title) and since it's darker than the purple on the HS room it should work? Or a blue (like the tanglewood title, so it wouldn't interfere much with the no light switch blue code)?

As of what I know the Crucifix doesn't make a sound when it repels a hunt, so I thought to make my own.
I interpret the ghost getting hurt when it gets repelled and being sent back into the ghost world, as the crucifix breaks from the mounts of negative energy.

My friend made this after a game earlier today. One of our team was inside trying to antagonize the ghost so we could mark of the ‘escape a ghost during a hunt’ task. Yeah I modified it now the doors open too ,the eyes are moving and blinking and I ajusted the edge to make it more square, I'm struggling with a single pixel decision (the color of a pixel, but I think I'll leave it like that). Maybe the feets arn't well aligned with the rest but at the same time it gives a nice chaos and a dynamic, wich is something we don't see often in pixel art. I had to make the water drop enveloppe by white to make it pop-up from everything and it makes it easier to see it.

Yeah @random solar was pretty much on the money on that one.

Green means highlighted by evidence
Yellow means you have indicated this ghost type by suspecting an evidence (Tagging it yellow.)
Bright red means you've excluded this ghost type because of an evidence type you excluded.
And dark red means an evidence you found excludes it beyond a shadow of a doubt.

I should probably change the "Green: Evidence" to "Green: Confirmed" seems more in theme with the other texts. Good shout.

love the ideas a lot, just one simple criticism from me (besides the grammar mistakes scattered around) is the part where you say "30 seconds"
now, this sticks out to me because of the fact that you're making it formatted to a journal entry. Journal entries shouldn't have set neumeric values for realism (you can't know this information actually writing in the journal), however it would work well on the wiki where this information is more necessary.

I made a little api intended to be used in twitch chat since the evidence combinations changed. You can get ghosts and their 3 evidence or enter the evidence that you have and it will tell you the possible ghosts and what evidence you would need for them. May not be very useful but it was a lot of fun making it If you feel like adding it: I provided easy copy and paste commands to add it to your twitch chat!
