Music is a form of art, right? Either way, a mod said it was alright for me to do an original song for the contest, so I used the spirit box saying "far" and "away" as well as the EMF ringing (the lead instrument) with some sidechaining (gives it that swing type sound). If I don't win or make it far, I still thought it was fun. Enjoy!

I actually didn't use reference, I wish I had because I struggled a lot with it. I DO agree that the idea feels familiar to me too though, I probably saw it before. When I was working I tried to figure it out but the only thing I could think of was Jumanji and I couldn't find anything like it when I googled.

It would be pretty scary having to run from one building to another when a hunt starts. Also, I think seeing the ghost wander through the grounds would be a pretty terrifying image, especially if it's really misty. This image is an example. It has quite a lot of cover too.

If it's too big would it be easy to run from the ghost since all of them save for 2 are slower than the PCs? Also this 1 post per minute is killing me. I dunno if it gets crazy fast in here but 30 seconds vs 60 would make it easier to get feedback and bounce ideas around.

I think most ghosts are faster than players. I forget which one, but there's one that's faster from what I've heard. And yeah, the 60s period sucks. Also, I think the ghosts are only slightly faster than players, but can be slowed down easily with smudge sticks (they wander for a few seconds)

They're called smudge sticks both in the game and irl. That's not a problem. I meant the fact that you used 2 different ways to describe the same thing. That's like having 2 different icons for the same piece of evidence. It's just a little off-putting and confusing in an informational list. Not a huge problem though.

So i been a huge fan of Phasmophobia ever since my friends have shown me, back in October, I'm currently level 804. Not sure if it counts as fanart but I made an suggestion tracker website for fun, some design choices are slightly based on zendesk's feedback tracker. It includes creating new posts and viewing suggestions. As well as filtering by new posts and by upvotes.

It's built purely on php and a mysql database. Atm there are no comments for suggestions, and there is no login system

It supports pagination (by default it shows 10 suggestions at once) and also supports markdown. Dark mode soon

A monsterdesign that I'm working on :) (full body sketch made in my notes app so it isn't detailed :D)
I, for now call it a Miruaq. It uses it's mask to get human attention and lure it's prey closer to a secluded spot. It'll use it's tongues to hold the prey in place and pull them closer. The creature itself is extremely shy and usually only shows it's head around corners. It's claws are sharp enough to dig into every surface. It also grabs and throws objects if it's starteld 👍

Haha the face is great but it honestly looks like something like that would make for a pretty cool death animation

I think the only problem is the fact you'd need a pretty flat and open area for it to work and players often die in odd locations like against a closet or on a staircase. Would be cool to see circumstantial death animations that play at appropriate times though.

thats actually quite easy to do, player position and view direction is really easy to get afaik. they only need to map the areas of each animation and their probability (Aside making the animation itself)

Thanks! 🙂 It's far from perfect, but I did the best I could with the tools Rust gives you. The whole build took probably 3-5 hours. Would've taken longer, but I have admin rights on that server, so I was able to noclip around to more easily build it/spawn trees
