Its vers frustrating not only to do something every 30 mins but also keep en eye of the charges left od eternal spears while other vocation tmdo t have this issue.

Also they waste mana which could be use to make supplies. Why only rps habe this training drawbacks?

Make a training spear a permanent weapon that you can just buy from npc .

And leavee the spell just for server start because it will be cheaper to use than buying the npc training spear( i suggest price between 10-20).

Introducing new kind of training weapon or reworking for example small stones could do a job. For example if small stones would last much longer, so you take 100 of them and can train peacefully 10 (or even 24?) hours or so.

I'm in favor of increasing charges to 3600 is 2 hours of training because I remember that checking those spears was little annoying

I think swapping spear every 30 mins is very low maintenance already, no frustrations there. Also having to craft a spear every 50 mins for the cost of 35 mana is negligible.

The way I see it, idle training has advantages and disadvantages depending on your voc, and it ends up being balanced out.

Knights are the lowest maintenance: just click dummy and fuck off. Their downside is their mana doesn't amount to anything useful in the meantime. Paladins have higher maintenance with having to swap spears and manage cap somehow after crafting ammo or whatever - still very easy to manage.

If spear had infinite charges, paladin training effort would be same as knight, with upside of creating useful stuff with mana surplus. It would become unfair.

time to introduce mana points for every vocation. every mana that you gain beyond max mana goes into mana points and you can buy runes from the npc with that. this way every voc could mana fluid their runes to gain mlvl
