#feedback regarding druid/mage underwater items

would like to propose changes and improvements for it because i dont see any valid point on having superior attribute for mage set unless you guys are cooking something for part 3. it makes no sense on how the vocations are supposed to be played and theres no exclusive mage item with this attribute in the entire game. since people already spent money attributing it, removing it wouldnt be nice anyways.

right now it is:
helmet: superior, ice resist, pom, int, ams
armor: superior, ice resist, pom, ams, int, mana absorb
legs: superior, ice resist, pom, ams, int, mana absorb
boots: superior, ice resist, pom, speed, int, ams

valid changes imo could be:
helmet: swap superior with mana absorb
armor: swap superior with either speed or something like a new ice block attribute like the one on jadeite boots (open to suggestions)
legs: swap superior with either speed or something like a new ice block attribute like the one on jadeite boots (open to suggestions)
boots: swap superior with mana absorb

also tome of deep current should have some incentive to be made, right now ward of sheol is way better since theres no underwater speed bonus on ice tome and because it has almost the same ice resist and the elemental warding attribute makes it way better

adding mana absorb to any boots or helmet would instantly turn them BiS. Turning superior into speed attribute (mostly paladin attribute) contradicts your motivation of making this proposal. Turning Superior attribute into generic mage attribute is the most boring solution ever.

I think the real problem is you not liking superior attribute in particular. I don't know what happened to you during your childhood for this hatred to emerge but I would recommend not getting this attribute if you hate it or don't need it.

Now you may say there is no way to decide which attribute you wanna get and I feel you bro. We should have option to roll for specific attribute and thats something I'm waiting for since forever too.

Imo superior is great since it allows mages/druid to be more tanky which counters their main weakness.

"bis" items will be relative from now in the game. devs already showed that every zone will have its own gear. you wont use ice set outside underwater because sheol is better. im advocating for a balancing based on what we have now and the purpose of the set/area: piranhas, thornfry, eelwyrm, tideshrimps, voranas and the new mage spot are all ice dmg we dont melee block them, theres no point on having superior

i proposed mana absorb because is the only missing that could fit mage/druid gameplay but as i said im open for suggestions
