Currently, the skill boost for mages/druids does not work well. The main reason players use the boost is to increase Magic Level, but there’s a problem: whenever you attack or get attacked (especially from ranged mobs hitting your shield), the boost timer decreases because it also counts shielding training.
Issue:
Shielding training consumes the boost duration, even if players only want Magic Level, its pointless to get 50% on shield training for mages.
Suggestions:
Implement an option to choose the skill affected by the boost (e.g., Magic Level only).
Allow players to lock shielding training so the boost isn’t wasted when taking hits.
This would make the system fairer and more efficient, especially for mages/druids whose main progression comes from Magic Level.
