The loot from Shadow Drakes now is just soo bad.

Since the QoL change of the loot it's just terrible ,i've done a few hunts now to try and see. 4h hunt with loot of 700-800k is just bad.
Makes no sense to change mind stones into gps when you still have to loot serpent swords.
I saw in the chat there was "no change" of the loot i've hunted enough shadow drakes to know that something have been changed since that change.
If that's the case to change that into gp's then i feel like just revert it as it was before because this is nerve-wrecking when you open drakes and its literally empty or even empty.
Some hunts even 0 ancient pieces never happened before. (1x loot)

they say gorgons is nerfed too

Yes gorgons is nerfed aswell

All this QoL changes on loot just makes it worse, i rather "lootbagging" then having this its terrible.

why even remove mind stones in the first place? they have never been a problem when we have hunted there

#

i mean its an stackable item

I totally agree , if anything then it would make more sense to change the serpent swords into gps

To me it just feels something has changed beyond the QoL change. I rarely ever did a hunt there with out getting a few ancient pieces in 3-4 hour hunt. Majority of the hunts now I leave with 0-1 (and 1 if you are lucky) ancient pieces. Profits have decreased by like 200-300k on average. Feels bad hunting there now

I probably hunt there much less than you guys, have around 2,1k shadow drakes killed and I dont feel that loot is nerfed, but what I can confirm is that variance between hunts is much bigger, it used to be more steady before. When it comes to gorgons, Im 100% sure something is wrong there, overall profits are much less

I wrote about it much earlier, loot from shadow dragons was NERFED under the guise of optimization, but what is the point of optimization in the way of withdrawing mind stones which do not weigh much at all, and not touching the serpent swords? My friends and I (server 1x loot) hunt these monsters a lot, my friend has killed over 10 thousand dragons, he did dozens of hunts after the change and he claims clearly - dragons were nerfed, ancient items were DEFINITELY touched in terms of drop rate, Eldrin wrote that he checked and these coefficients are the same but I dare say that this is not true, because the "optimization" itself should change something for the better and in this case (replacing mind stones with gold) is pointless, so in my opinion and that of several of my friends they were nerfed under the guise of optimization. Honestly, it's a weak move and I'd rather get information that from today the loot from shadow drakes is 10% lower than such trickery and making people look stupid

Just bring back the old shadow drakes, I think no one wanted this change mind stones - platinum coins.

The truth is that I had greater profits before I completed demonic faction with sacred arbalest than I do now with annihilator bow.
The value of items is reduced by 20/30%.I know what I'm talking about, I've killed over 15k dragons.

I wanted to give this rep another chance and I just tp out from Big Shadow Drakes resp after almost 3 hours of hunting, using 40 bp explo and 50 bp uh I dare say you made this resp DISGUSTING to hunt. I've been beating dragons for 56 minutes and pulling out only platinum coins and serpent swords, I can safely say that I won't be visiting this spawn again until the GM does something about it. You've ruined another good spawn, good job! I'm posting photos of the fantastic loot and of course the "short" break between looted items.

@wary tulip any adjustments planned on this matter for next patch?

No changes are planned. While some changes may be noticeable on one, two or three hunts, when averaged nothing has barely changed when it comes to average loot value.

I did analyze monster drops on Destiny, 30 days before changes and 30 days after changes and here are the results:

Before patch:

Total kills: 10614
Total value: 41,534,580 gold
Average value per kill: 3,913.19 gold
After patch:

Total kills: 15996
Total value: 62,331,000 gold
Average value per kill: 3,896.66 gold

Every item is NPC priced. As you can see, the difference is barely there and comes from rarest item drops. At average 20 gold per kill, which after a 2 hour hunt comes down to what, 3000 gold "loss"? Not much really changed and it's just the mentality thing where patch equals a bug.
