The introduction of elite monsters has been well-received, with most players appreciating the update. However, the loot of the Legendary monsters are currently broken, especially on slower-paced servers. Golden elite monsters present similar issues, though to a lesser extent.
The problem is straightforward: Legendary monsters typically have around 10 times the health of regular monsters. While the XP reward is proportionate and balanced, the loot is severely lacking. Despite slightly better loot for Legendary monsters, it’s nowhere near enough to offset the extra supplies required—often 10 times more than usual.
Encounters with Legendary monsters should be exciting events we look forward to. Instead, they’re becoming a source of frustration. When one appears—particularly in team hunts where high-health monsters are common—players are forced to run and then log off/on to make the monster disappear, thereby avoiding the resource waste. This loot imbalance needs urgent adjustment to make Legendary encounters rewarding rather than a costly burden.
