Black Friday is a store-wide promotion, the intention is to have promotions only on cosmetic items, outfits and dummy.

Personally, I would be pissed if I spent 5k mc on an outfit and then people had the opportunity to buy it for 2.5k instead. Maybe instead of items in the store being discounted, discount actual mc.

There's no reason to get mad. If you were to think that way, you should only buy on Black Friday so you don't get mad or sad.
The point of doing a flash sale that lasts just one day is to remove MCs from the game. If the game manages to remove 50K of MCs from the game, that's already a positive thing for the life of the game itself.
In the end, this is just a cosmetic item. It won't make you stronger or weaker.
If you said that about house items, utilities, etc., I'd agree with you. However, we're talking about something cosmetic that won't change anything about your character except visually.
I'm sure that in the 24 hours of the sale, you won't see 90% of the players with their 5K outfits, but we'll have tons of MCs removed from the game.

Aesthetic or not it’s still a slap in the face to those who purchased said outfit. Going to be honest, sounds a bit like you might plan on buying it for half off 😂
Discounting mc as a whole is more balanced and fair.

A slap in the face is when you buy something in the game and lose it, just like what will happen with merging, people will lose houses that they spent tons of MC to buy, and they won't have any solution for that, that's a slap in the face.
We're talking about a store, like any other, that can undergo changes in prices, it's not because you paid X amount that everyone should pay that X amount, you paid that in the past because you wanted to wear that outfit at that moment, and you did.
If it's on sale at some point, there's no reason to feel betrayed or deceived. 
But it's okay, I respect your point of view even though I don't agree with it.

Not going to keep doing this back and forth with you. My point stands. It sounds more and more like you just want a 5k outfit for 2.5k coins. I agree with discounting the price of mc for the sake of the anniversary, not just outfits for 24 hours. I won’t reply again.
