Your feedback has been rejected and currently is not planned to be added to the game. Thanks for your feedback!
There are no plans to expand Novus in any form. Its a tutorial island, the content will only be added to mainland because otherwise it would be a waste of development time to create update that only a handful of players will experience.
@forest cipher i can help for free tô create a New map áreas...
@forest cipher It would be much easier to understand that there are people who like this type of gameplay and who would also be willing to invest in it. If Novus is forgotten, it is an asset that will be lost without even trying to be explored.
If we find something that can be added without wasting too much of development time then we might do it, we don't say no, however, we are unable to tell when we will be able to add anything because the mainland takes priority.
Guys, there are people who would help for free just so that the game has more content for those who love Novus. We can even do crowdfunding to help hire a developer just for this, to create content in Novus... Nothing is impossible, you just have to want it. @forest cipher
What u think about adding cooking in Novus? We already have 4 recipes that drop in Novus. So we can buy aquariums and planting pots, ovens, and start to cook some food...
Minning....Many ativities...
Why not go to mainland and enjoy it all? 😉
It would be cool to have None vocation in mainland 🤔
It's these little things that don't require much work to do that can be implemented without having to change anything. Because we have items that are useless like the dragon's crossbow. Why not add a location with a minotaur archer? Or release how to get to them after doing the wand of light quest. @forest cipher
because Novus' gameplay mechanics are different. It's sometimes more challenging. Many of us also play on the mainland, they are different ways of playing.
The guys have definitely abandoned Novus... Soon they'll create a Downport too, that's all that's missing...
Absolutely agree with you 100% on that. In my opinion everyone that decided to play Novus did it knowing it was a tutorial part of the game and should therefor not demand dev time. Their focus should 100% be for mainland but selling items looted in Novus makes sense. When it comes to new lore and hunting places that should solely be Mainland which is 99% of player base.
Anyways, that is just my opinion so maybe you guys get some new stuff. Have a great day!
assuming 1% of players play on Novus, if the staff spends 1% of their time working on features there, I believe the Novus community would be happy already. let's say a staff member works 40h a week. 1% of that is 0.4 hours per week working on Novus (25 minutes~), which I think is more than enough to add many cool stuff there 😉
Please tell me how many chilled bps do I need to buy to pay for the dev time to have a rework of rotspear, add blessed sigil to scarf, and more loot sellable to npc 🥹
Unfortunately thats not how development works. switching context for a 0.4 hour task during a week is simply not viable. Just context switching takes more than half of that time. Not to mention planning and other discussions
well, I disagree with you. I'm sure this can fit in their schedule
Im not saying that novus doesnt deserve new content. I hope it can fit too 🙂
I've been playing Novus since 2018. It was full and had a passionate community. The guys stopped playing because there's no new content. Anyway, when I finish the tasks I'm going to abandon Medivia too. It doesn't make sense to play in a place that is already known that there will be no updates or support from the game company.
I'll be honest, for me it's an excuse. If the guys made a small amount of content per year for Novus, it's more than enough. But the truth is that they lack the will. Novus may not have enough MC expenses to justify leaving a Developer focused on content, which is not necessary, since one piece of content per year would be more than enough for our community.
