just pass leader after each kill
No it shouldn't. The game is easy enough already
Just pass the leader after each lap, or after each hour or something like that. Let's say you have a 200~300 lv team that started doing Church faction, it would be wise if 1 person rushes the Sentinel task, so he/she can grab Icons task asap, and then the party can have 2 active tasks, with the system you're proposing, all the team would have to finish 1 task to move on to the next, it is simply not efficient
Its actually quite good the way it is, no fix needed....its a hell of alot better than it use to be...before it needed to be last hit on the mob for the task kill to count🙃
its great as it is. you're proposing we lose the power of choice on how the tasks progress within the party
Nothing screams “let’s play together” after doing the same task for 6 people one person at a time where the rest of your party feels like they haven’t progressed anything.
This pass the leadership mentality is so primitive in 2024.
New proposal should be let people choose how they want to progress the task (because I guarantee) when the option is available most people will choose split even progression if that’s not the case then I guess the rest of us have to suffer in the Stone Age and we’re doomed
but you can do it right now... you can alternate leadership between hunts, or after each lap, for example. If you take away the current form we will find ourselves in the situation wiggy fan shared. Nobody wants to compete with friends for task points when people could be on the same hunting progressing separate tasks.
You’re not competing with friends you’re progressing at equal rates without having to stop and pass leadership.. you’re literally saying let me stop and pass leadership for the same outcome as splitting the task evenly.
If you want to progress ahead of your teammates do the task alone. Otherwise split evenly because it’s the same thing you’re stating happens when you pass leadership. 🤦🏻♂️
Passing leadership takes like 2 seconds xD there are far more serious problems in the game to handle and improve
Task in team is already so easy compared how it was before. Lasthitting strong mobs as ek wasnt really fun
Did you read the example of hunting church? you'd rather have everyone be stuck in Sentinels for a long time, and then everyone be stuck on Icons for a long time again, instead of progressing 2 tasks at the same time when one person progresses sentinels while other progresses icons?
It takes no more than 1-2 seconds to pass leadership after a lap or a hunt, but it would be a huge waste of time to not let us choose who progresses first in order to optimize the tasks progress within the party.
A while ago I would probably be 100% against it but now when I think I wouldnt mind both parties (in a party of 2) getting the kc.It would improve the social aspect of the game and stop being a single game sd simulator. Because now (ofcourse im not talking about the end game unsolable tasks) if a player can solo most of the tasks theres no reason for him to really socialise and even go on a teamhunts and do 2x the kills. So yeah I dont mind if it happens or not im good both ways but I see some positives in encouraging people to play together.
I see the point in this example I do but I just cant get behind the amount of tasks you don't have this option available that you NEED to do. I just think tasking over all needs a change when it comes to teams and maybe this solution doesn't fix everything but there has to be something.
Account bound faction could be an option for example. I will double down on saying passing leadership of the party is an outrageous option for game progression though.
