Something needs to be done, for those that don't play Pendulum, here's my POV

Power abuse everywhere. You simply can't be neutral, you can't afk train, can't hunt without invenioing for PKs every 30 sec. There are 3 groups dedicated to destroy the server, some players from the 2 guilds at the current war in the other servers, when there's no action in the other servers, they simply log in Pendulum and decide to hunt neutrals, and the other group, some random pks that own a few hlvls.

Last week, I invited a RL friend to come in and play, I would set him some gear, show him a bit around. The result? He died 3x as a level 8 within 10 minutes playing the game.

Today, a long time retired friend asked, how was the game going, I told him the reality of the server, suggested playing a more pacific one like Serenity or Legacy, since he invested a lot of time in his character, and there is no viable transfer option, he considered giving it a try, he activated his premium time. The result? He died within 2 hours.

That's just 2 personal examples, but if you check the deathlist, there's plenty going on everyday. My character never got killed in PVP, as I'm extra careful and rarely go out to exp, so I'm mostly speaking for most of the Pendulum community.

For every new player in Pendulum, I'd say at least 2 get so power abused on this server that I believe they will never ever play Medivia again.

Why we don't defend ourselves? Some do, but we simply want to play the game, most players don't have time to play, why we would waste our precious time invested in our characters trying to go after some nolifers that simply don't care if they die.

Why we don't play on other servers? As stated, most players invested a lot of time to simply throw all these years away and start all over again. When I started playing, Pendulum was the only High Rate server.

Just check the stats, you can see Pendulum population going down everyday and eventually is going to be unplayable, players are already struggling to trade items, finding team hunts. The server will obviously die and there's probably 2 options (everyone feel free to suggest more options). 1) Close the server and let us transfer to any high rate (Serenity, Eternum or Progeny). 2) Take a closer look and punish all the power abusers, the damage is done, I doubt the server will thrive again, but, that might be an option.

PvP is part of this server. I’d say go for a non pvp server if that’s how you enjoy the game.

Hmm I guess it wouldn’t hurt to let people transfer from PvP to non PvP. But obviously not the other way around.

Streamers that only purpose to do it is for help the comunnity grow up are getting sniped for no reason. The problem also its not the pvp. Pendulum has 70 players actived inclued two team pk's that log in Just to make 9 frags each one by day. Reduce the numbers of frag maybe one way. Cuz atm is unplayable

We had a topic about it couple months ago with over 50 comments and a big discussion. The only comment from staff was about opening a retro server: #1215454452270497862 message

On the transfer to serenity feedback thread it was propposed a new non pvp server could be opened where people could transfer to from any server, creating some sort of safe place for whoever is not satisfied with their current server.

Other than that, I dont have much hope for these old and abandoned servers. I, myself, started over in Serenity and left my progress behind. The other option was quitting the game.

Please create a new non-pvp server and allow transfers from beggining for those who want to play peacefully without disturbing serenity community.

A friend of mine who is barely active logged in on pendulum yday without any preparations just to look at the game a bit and got killed by a hlvl random pker without any chance of reaction. This destructive behavior avoid players from coming back to the game and also newcomers. Something has to be done

There's usually 60 players online with 70~90 peaks, I am 100% sure most players will not simply quit from Pendulum, they will quit Medivia, some players might wait for transfers, but as we speak, people are seriously quiting the game due to toxic behaviour. I'd highly recommend Medivia staff to find some temporary solution

I came back to Medivia with 7~8 friends and only me and one of them are still playing. The situation in Progeny made everybody quit, and I can only imagine how much worse it is in Pendulum.

even tho the idea is not bad, i doubt its doable moneywise. I dont think there are that many players that wanna transfer there high lvl to a brand new non pvp enough to build a comeback community.

its way more money wise to either open transfer to serenity with several restrictions in lvl / items

or make a new non pvp server from strach (bcuz everyone knows brand new servers are always money sink) and iryont profit a good amount with those. reason why i doubt he would only open a server for those abandoned ppl.

the least you can expect is a transfer to serenity with several restrictions

If the world actually dies, just let us choose to transfer to a pvp or no pvp high rate server.

thats not bad idea, just dont know if is viable for iryont to do it, like i said.. i dont think there are that many ppl enough to to justifiy a new server just for them, there would also be no money spent at all, so iryont would spend cash making new serrver with not many come back..

its more viable to open transfers direct to serenity with several restriction.

ppl would have to spend cash buying transfer scroll and also spend cash buying new items on serenity (which would heat up the market)

ofc the statement above would depend on how severe the restriction are, like only 100% naked chars or chars with items on body only, etc.. no cash or jus few mcs

Pendulum has an "aged" community, with the average level of players being above 300. This makes it uninviting for new players, both for content and also because it does not have a hotkey. Even though the server is empty, those who reach the mid-end game content can easily progress along with the server, but the lack of a market or a more elaborate tutorial means that new players have to play on eternum or progeny itself.

And you already have an option to transfer out of pendulum for now... Progeny

It may not be the best server but I know a lot of people that plays there with no troubles

Maybe in the near future we will see Eternum open for transfers as well

progeny has/had the same issue i think maybe not as bad as on pendulum, open a new non pvp server or open transfers to serenity with restrictions

kill a player, and wait him outside temple with a mage to ue him without aol

for other part pendulul its the oldest high rate therefore to transfer to Serenity its nuts way too much progress in there

even to eternum it could be done, all depends on how the restriction will be made.

1 - average lvl
2 - amount of items
3 - how long char exists

i dont see a reason why a lvl 400, naked, with over 2 years of char cant be transfered to eternum. (the amount of items will be set to 0 when transfering to eternum)

to serenity the restrction can be others like 300, naked, char longer than 2 years, etc.

not only would make medivia get some renevue with transfer but also with this guy having to buy new gear on new server (ofc if this option is choosen)

there are many variables but for sure if u input a restriction, transfers to serenity / eternum wont make much low effect but just positive such as heating the market in server and giving this abandoned guy a new place to play in peace

we try to defend the server few time ago , but we dont get much ppl support they say " i can hunt while u fight" " they cant enter sheol" and stuff like this. somehow we loose the team and practically we transfer to other server where i have a lot of ping and is not 7.4, many times i try to explain the gm they use mc for make ppl redskull, and no response. most of the " high lvl character" was bought by the " pk team" and now its hard to fight against xD

Devs could create a pool to assert how many players would be interested in transferring from pendulum to a pvp or to a non pvp world, so they could study the viability to open a new non-pvp server on NA, open to transfers from the start (Refugia, lol). Just an idea.

I mean, maybe the pool could involve all the pvp worlds, not only pendulum. I'm sure there are a lot of retired players that are refugees from wars that would love this option and keep playing/injecting money on the game.

I started playing again this week, this player already killed me afk, now he's giving power abuse, I'm neutral, and he's trying to charge a "hunted" as he's the one who's killing the players on the server

We tried to fight against them, they just created redskull traps to which the solution decided on by Developers was more frags which made the situation infinitely worse. You answered ticket after ticket about obvious griefing with a generic "It's a pvp server" response - appreciate it.
Now they've been buying up random accounts in these WhatsApp groups to just destroy the server until it gets within range of being merged.

The people playing on these characters in the CDK group say they aren't killing neutrals, but the person (let me be politically correct, i guess) that started logging on Chikin lovers has only been targeting neutrals specifically and demanding payments.

Peek at #💬┃adventure（pendulum） as I called one of them out specifically & they got all defensive.
